That may be how you feel, but I do not. It may be just you or some of the people that you hang out with both in rl and sl. But in my little part of the world, we are not that way. I personally find it offensive that you are calling everyone a liar. Rather then lie, why not just keep your thoughts to yourself.

I agree with you totally Phil. Just because one person lies doesn't mean the rest of the world does. Even if someone has lied to me before, doesn't mean that I stop believeing what they tell me. I just take the time to check it out because there is now a degree of doubt in it.
It would be a very sad world if everyone in it was a liar. |

Simply visit Phils store, and see how many real visitors are there at any given time a day. See at how many places you encounter his furniture. Then visit my place, and do the same. The difference is amazing (and yeah, I hate Phil for this  ).Now I run a profitable business nevertheless. No RL income, yet substantial cashouts each month. Without a problem I could pay the tier for my own island, and even then still cash out RL dollars. So if I can do that with my business, I am quite convinced of the fact that Phil makes an equivalent of a RL salary. You may envy that, but it is kind of ridiculous to doubt it the way you do. Then the sociopath part of it. Let me give 2 examples of the Phil I know: - Phil provided free shopspace to several people. - Phil helped me with my research on Search, and I am a direct competitor. Are those examples of a sociopath? No need to like Phil, or what he does in SL. But really, insulting people is sad. _____________________

I don't think it's impossible that Phil is earning a lot of money. I just find it a lot more likely that he is not, and his claiming otherwise is part of his grandiose sense of self. _____________________

If you really believe that hardly anyone visits Phils shop, and his stuff isn't all around SL, we are done discussing. Because in that case, you only see a thruth you want to see, instead of reality. At different occasions I did visit Phil's shop. To see what he did with his leather textures, to talk with him about a subject, to help him check something from a different computer then his own, and simply to do some check on the competition. At each and every visit, there were one or more customers there. That is the truth, I gain nothing by defending Phil on this. He still refuses me a cut in his sales Furthermore, there are countless examples of people on this forum who told to have stuff created by him. Plus I sold customized stuff to several clubs and hangouts in the past, and most of them already had 1 or more pieces from his store. That is also the truth. Finally the two examples I gave you to show how much of a sociopath Phil is. Your reaction to those are simply ridiculous. How the hell can parcels not even shown in search, help Phil to get traffic in his store? The store already listed very high in search needs help from starting businesses? Are you for real there? Would helping a direct competitor be something to help some "Grandiose Sense of Self"?? How far did you dig for that? Is it so hard to believe that Phil does have a social side, that you have to come up with this nonsense? Really... Then the list you made. Phil often goes way further then I approve of. He knows that, and does not care a bit about it I suppose, his good right. So yeah, Phil does throw around insults. But if you care to read back, he is right that his insults are always in reaction to someone starting. And yes, he does retalliate harder then is dealt out, but most of the times I remember, it was a reaction. Finally, I showed you why it is very believable that Phil makes a good income. However it would require you believe what I say about my business first, plus you would have to believe that Phil is a lot more succesful then I am in his business. If you refuse to believe either one of them, you will probably not believe this either. _____________________
