It depends on the skybox...some are made for larger plots of land. I think all of the Blip and Ace's Spaces homes tell you what plot size they fit, so you might follow the slurl and rez a few to get a better idea of how much space that would be: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Deco/193/156/27


Ahh I see, thanks a ton. I didnt know what Blip was. Sounds like pre-constructed homes?

Yes, but looking at them might give you a better idea of what sort you'd be able to build for yourself if you do decide to upgrade and buy a 512m.

if you upgrade your current account, bigmac, you might get more than the L$300 per week stipend. i joined as a basic account in april of 2006 (like you) but did not go premium until later in the year. after the stipends had dropped from L$500 thru L$400 to the present L$300.

however, my weekly stipend is L$500 based on the time i was rezzed in world and not the time i went premium.

of course, things may have changed.

I do hate to necro threads, but I have the same question. I get 500 a week, and before i upgraded I would get the 50 a week. So if I went and downgraded back to a free account would I begin to get the 50 still? If I upgraded again would I still get 500?

Upgrading again after that, you would get 300L$ a week, as current new premium users do.

according to my experience, upgrading to a premium account will get you the stipend in effect at the time of your rezzing in sl ... not the time of your premium upgrade.
