If I want to save my own work, my creations, I use the XML file export to save all my work using Meerkat viewer.

Yes, it works fabulously well.

I did panic and had already started cleaning up some of the the empty folders after posting that message...Wish I had waited because now I can't recover my projects I had been working on.

Dena, if you deleted your folders they should still be in your trash unless you actually chose the menu item to empty the trash.

Look in the trash folder (looks like a trash can) and drag the folders or items out to the main inventory folder. I hope your projects are saved!

Because that's the way SL works, I guess. Ask a friend to put this in a no copy prim and to give it you to rez a few times, if you want to check:
CODE
default
{
on_rez(integer p)
{
llOwnerSay((string)llGetKey());
}
}

Thank you, did not know this !

It really is. It is one easy way and works without troubles for me. You can import your saved XML files with any other account.

If we want to - we could send this xml file via email to another person and this person could then easily import the file back to SL making him/her the creator of this creations will full rights.

A very interesting new way to make business? Yes, I think there are some ideas.

I don't know this xml file trading could cause damage in your system if the file is hacked. Would be worth to open a new thread talking about this?
