From: Salvador Nakamura besides sitting down, its also a good idea to go high up in the air. i ussualy made a 10x10 platform, put a cube on it, link it, take a seat and went up 6/700m, now-a-days you can go upto 4000m, almost ensuring "quite time"  . here is a neat trick, just rez a single cube. Sit on it. set the height, then change the x,y to 10 m and stand up you;l be ontop of the prim without having to do the link

From: Joshooah Lovenkraft I can't tell you the number of times I've deleted my floor or linked something to a floor by mistake when building on your own land so it is nice to build in a sandbox. I do lock things like floors and such now so that I at least get a warning if I try to link or delete something I really don't want to LOL i linked my Hair one time..i have no idea how it even linked but it did..i didn't think you could link things you had on and drag them off like that  it had to be some kind of glitch or something but it came off and was part of my build.. i don't know if maybe i attached the build to my hair or the other way around.. i just know i was bald when i moved the build |

From: Drivin Sideways Easy answer. Make and alt and have your alt rez the building platform. Or, just invite a friend to build your platform. Duh! Well, I'd have to set autoreturn to 0 minutes or set the land to a group, but it's still an easy answer. |
