I just got a lot of 503 erroes and tried to load up the SL home page and got this instead.

It is back to the regular home page now, but the one I had for a second there is kind of cool. It has more relavent things there at the start.
Has this always been around and I just missed it? Is this the new home page in the making?
Just curious.

I got it to. took me to my very own dashboard once it cleared up. was there an announcement regarding this?

Your link took me to my "dashboard" a program LL started beta testing awhile back. Ultimately, as I understood it, they were supposed to be at least somewhat customizable, and work as a personal homepage.
It was on the blog...I'll have to go look for it. _____________________

I like the interface much better - clean, sharp, much more professional, and information is well organized for my basic needs. (Although, I'd still like to access some of these features inworld - oh and while I'm making my wish list for Santa... a better inworld browser window would be nice too!) Hopefully this cleaner, fresher interface will at some point be extended to the Forums. Z |

I really like the changes that have been made to My Account page. Besides the fact everything's easier to find now, I can see which of my friends are online without an extra click.

I wanted to dislike it, but with a little playing around it's damn easy to find what you need, the stuff i don't need that's in my face, I don't even mind that so much either. Would be much better to be logged into Xstreet when you clicked the link and not have to sign in separately.

I'm just glad to see the 'Buy L$' option right there, nice and simple and obvious. Hopefully now we shouldn't get any more, "I just put US$20 onto my account so I could buy Lindens, but now it's telling me I've reached my limit"-type posts here. The old 'increase your credit' page was confusing for a lot of new users.

Xstreet got changed to it too. You know, I'd like it a lot better if the "item template" link worked. I was in the middle of putting things up for sale when it changed and the templates stopped popping up.
And I would love to be able to get rid of a lot of the useless to me parts of the dashboard. Like anything to do with residents posting to the laughable Second Life Answers or the blog... I would rather have one for this forum, please and thank you. _____________________
