The answer to my one question there turned out to be that you had to keep calling LL on the phone, over and over, until you managed to reach somebody willing to help. It was a question that LL really needed to step up and answer but, well, you know how that goes. I don't like the formatting. I am dead against any 'points' crap. The software does not like my PC, which is running the most popular OS in the world and the most popular browser in the world. LL has said they are not going to participate. I haven't seen them say WHY they are doing this. I see Pink Linden saying things like... From: Pink Linden We are passionately committed to maintaining forums as a place for you to gather and connect with each other and to talk directly with us. Last month, we announced that we were planning on moving the forums from XStreetSL.com over to https://blogs.secondlife.com/. You can visit Second Life answers to get a feel of the new look and the different features. ...and just have to wonder. Is she really that out-of-touch with reality? Is that kind of a statement a joke? Is it meant to piss residents off?? Granted, it's in the context of the slex forums which I don't really follow and maybe LL actually gives a crap about them over there but.. WTF??? Reading that just floored me.. Dishonest? Delusional? Drugged? I can't decide.. From: Seven Okelli ETA - The OP's mention of a "Linden alt" reminded me: I was confused about some users who seemed to have a different, superior status (such as mentor or something like). Being used to the egalitarian setup of this forum, I found it difficult to know whether they really HAD some different status or were only posing. At least Lexie Linden publically outted her alt there. She wasn't trying to pull something and was all up-and-up about it..

From: Imnotgoing Sideways I participated in the closed beta run of SL Answers and found the interface and methods to be very wonky. This I explored it a bit, I think I chimed in on a post or two (but I don't recall), and decided it wasn't for me.
