Yeah this ain't WoW when you can earn a decent amount of golds by killing rats :p

Sure you can, if you play Darklife. Unfortunately, you cant convert the gold into Linden dollars, and it costs a few L to get started on it getting the stuff to play.

this public forum is open to the many countries around the world who use SL. it is very egotistical to expect everyone who posts here to have a firm grasp of the English language. Lil, i'm surprised at your intolerance.

How about this? Amazon's Mechanical Turk. I believe it truly is a sort of 'burger flipping' job online. Easy tasks. Miniscule pay. But that really adds up in lindens. Maybe someone could tie the two together.

From: someone

There's an e-commerce set-up on both ends. Tasks are uploaded by "requesters" - companies and individuals that define the work to be performed. Requesters deposit funds and set pricing for the tasks, while workers who perform tasks get funds transferred to their accounts. These are conventional Amazon.com accounts, so they can be linked to bank accounts or used for purchases on Amazon.

if you hadn't duct taped the tip of it to your fingers so you could get all up in there, maybe we wouldn't be having this problem right now.

No, that's fine.

good thing you always have that grammar correction thing to fall back on when you haven't got a comeback.

As someone who hires folks to work in SL, here are my issues with hiring new people. First, I need people to work as greeters on my sims and they need to know enough about my sims and also about SL to be able to help our visitors. So that in itself requires some knowledge...which most new people dont have right away. Ive often given folks all the notecards about Etopia and explained what they need to go learn about SL in order to work with us and never hear from them again. It isnt really that hard to take a couple of weeks to learn to set landmarks, how to do inventory etc. and also to read up and explore our sims a bit. But i rarely find people who are willing to even do that much when they are new.

So, yes...i have jobs for new people....but you cant start working the minute i speak with you and it will require some effort on your part to gather the knowledge needed.

Inspired by zack's desperate search I invented this job: /118/fe/296303/1.html

Which absolutely anyone can start doing immediately. I've had some interest so far but it seems like no-one has actually started work. Kinda odd really, but the position is still open.
