A good place for male skins/Pissed off

If you have been inworld since Feb 2007 and still don't know how to go about finding a new skin. Decent or otherwise, then you deserve to be counted as something alright and I'll not go into detail of what I think that is. You say noob like it is some kind of bad thing. Like Feb 2007 really makes you some kind of elitist oldbie or some such drivel. Hit search, teleport. Shop. RTFM..Noob.

Wow, Amy, I don't think that was necessary. He was just asking for suggestions, which pretty much everyone does at some point or another. And it IS more difficult to find nice things for male avs.

Ross has a very valid point about the impact of SL texture theft on the economy. A L$ 2000+ skin that gets ripped and redistributed for next to nothing in a freebie pack, rip-off shop, welcome area, or any place else, ruins the value of the creation for both the customers and the creator alike. The creator, who has spent tens or maybe even a hundred hours developing the textures, is SOL in ever being able to compensate themselves for their time spent. It takes me typically 6 months to adequately compensate myself for time spent on such textures. The customers have every right to feel cheated too!

FWIW, usually the first people to pick up stolen skins are first time accounts because they just don't know any better (notice I am not calling them nOObs). Once a skin has been circulating long enough with full permissions it has been downloaded and uploaded more times than there are days in the year. EVERYONE has them in their inventory and dozens of people (listed as the creator of the same textures) are distributing them to friends and perpetuating the cycle.

i bet i know which one it is. there is a skin out there for men that is too stylish to be a freebie yet almost every guy has it. ugh. they all look the same. but then again, so does mine and i'm about to design my own because i'm just tired of having the life of someone else. i found one that really does look a lot like me but now i'm finding twins.

The only way you can tell if they've died a few times is to kill them repeatedly and count the number of times before they stop coming back to life, and if I did that, then I'd have to apologize for a LOT more than just prying into her personal life. I have an alt, which shows 3 months newer, I have friends who have left SL and come back. People who have been on here for more than 3 years. I wouldnt call them Noobs in any version of the word. Keep in mind, that while you state everyone is new you still make Noobs, Newbie, N00b, sound bad. Its not that name that is derogative its the association you give it.

Everyone started at some point, Everyone made Newbie mistakes and learned or had someone who had learned it tell them. Dont point and criticize, lead them in kindness and let them learn to be better.

Flowers are always good...as are crinkly shiny things. No apology is necessary though. Like I said before, I recently helped a friend with an alt, and we looked at pretty much every decent male skin on the grid...the ones at The Abyss were the hottest.

And, for the record, I'm never male. Some of may alternative avs may be a bit unisex, but that's as far as I go.
