I have to say that I am impressed. I took a little extra time to load it all up then hopped on a convenient tram ride to get my bearings. There is so much to see and contemplate that you can't see it all in just a day. Just wondered what all of your thoughts are if you've been there too?

Have not gone, no. Am not particularly planning on attending, unless I get really bored.

Compared to former SLB's I'd been too, this one just seemed better organized to me. The music was a big factor in setting the mood for wonder and contemplation. The tram tour gave me something to do right off the start so I didn't have to wonder where to go first. I'll warn you it is easy to get lost

I've been many times. Then again, I have a display there.

The only thing I couldn't find that would be very helpful is a directory of some sort so you could find specific displays. I'd love to see your display Marianne!

I'm there.. but honestly, I'm more fond of the Relay for Life. I guess I just find Linden sponsored events to be a bit more stiffled.

I've never bothered in previous years, but thought I'd give it a go this year.
I was lucky enough to get in at the start yesterday and went to the Mankind Tracer concert. Quite good, but very laggy. I'll be popping in and out I think, there's a few things I want to see, including Mari's and Qie's stuff, but I find wading through the treacly lag too exhausting to do more than an hour or so at a time. How long does it go on for? |

Briefly, twice, but had to leave early both times and didn't get much in. I'll be back.

I went for a peek and I am afraid it's too modern for my taste.I did see one of my antique coffee machines in a futuristic coffee bar.............strange.

I went and found it overwhelming. I only saw a very small portion, so I will have to go back.
I left a very long post about my SLB6 adventures in the never-ending thread, so I won't repeat here. To summarize, I had a better experience once I went into my preferences and turned off basic shaders. That got rid of the all the glow that I found disorienting. Now that I have my bearings a little, I may turn the glow back on and see it the way it was intended. _____________________

Thanks Qie! ![]() I made it in for a bit today, and took the tram tour for quite awhile to get a broad sense of things. Overall I was impressed, and the tram worked remarkably well. It's chaotic, but I think that is just part of it. I like that so many individuals get to build something to display all in one place. I want to get back and look at some individual exhibits now. _____________________

I went for Philips opening speech. He was good as always, though he kinda just repeated the same old "SL is the future of the internet" speech he usually has.
Thats all I wanted to go to SL6B for. Don't plan on seeing the rest. |

Like Marianne, I have an exhibit at SL6B so I spend alot of time there although I haven't had much spare time to check out many of the other exhibits. What I've seen so far is quite impressive.
I can't vouch for any of the music at SL6B as I haven't had time to check out any of the other acts as I'm doing my own live music shows daily at my exhibit. I offered to play on the official stages but wasn't selected so I wasn't going to let that stop me ![]() _____________________

I paid a quick visit yesterday. I didn't see much but what I did see looked pretty good.
For a change, I set lighting to 'midnight' which made the most of the amazing lighting effects. I plan to go back for a longer look round. _____________________
