I'm sure you have all seen them scattered around SL. Those cute huge bunnies that you can sit on? Sooo adorable.. Not. I saw it the first time a while ago, went "wtf" and moved on. Then my partner and I ended up where they sell thses bunnies and he was all "Weeee we need one for our garden!!" Ugh.. I thought he was crazy.. until we realised we werent seeing the same cuteness. In fact, they are just freaky to me. I have cleared cache and all that stuff, ze bunnies are still ze evilness.  In case the pic doesn't do the monsters justice: they have two faces, on each side of the head, eyes towards the back of the head squashed. The red "dots" is where each eye is supposed to be. To everyone else they are apparantly the übercuteness. Has anyone else experienced this? And does anyone know how to fix it - so I don't have to feel terrorised in my own garden? (I'm using the standard SL viewer 1.20.17) |

When I see them, it takes a long time for them to rezz correctly and yeah I see them like that for a while, mostly I've moved on before they fully rezz.. These are all over the place..... They are stalking us. You know sometimes prim bunnies -although higher of course in prims- are just better...... I am not so much a sculpty fan anyway, but understand that sometimes you just need to cut down... Now, I recall in one of my education groups someone mentioned a setting you can select for rezzing sculpties better, faster.. but for the life of me after I did it I can't remember what it was... I believe flora at crackerbox mentioned it so might wanna give her a IM? I am not in world now to check history |

Hehe. Zombie bunnies  This could be a sculptie display problem. Check your OpenGL settings: Texture compression should be off. On one of my systems I need to activate "Force FXT1 texture compression" to circumvent extreme FPS drop, and then sculpties are distorted very similar to your bunnies. Good luck and take care; the monster bunniez could be hungry.  |

Looks like your object detail slider in Preferences is too low. If it's not at maximum, sculpties look like that. Optimization fail!  |

Well.. I tried the tips given. None helped. Then one day I dared look at the monsters and.. they were cute! next day.. scary again. So today I took a look again and.. Um.. I started thinking.. When they were cute the nose was twitching. No twitching now.. I get a small metaphorical lighbulb over my head and... turn on animated textures. Yep. That was it. So simple. Oh boy.  |

Years ago, Linden helpers would be lambs and bunnies. I remember asking for help with a griefer and a Linden actually appeared (yes, they did live in sl once) who was in a Lamb shape. Then another appeared who was a bunny rabbit. I think the griefer died of laughing. "Now look here, Mister Gwiefer ..."
I realized I was on my own from that day on.
Those are dead bunnies from yonks ago.
I love real rabbit stew and had a wonderful dinner at a friend's house not long ago when she cooked a rabbit with veggies and tatoes. I got my favourite part - the head - and gnawed on it like a cave girl. And if you think I am kidding, you should try rabbit brains. They are delish!
Next time you catch a rabbit, try the head also. I use one of those lobster-pokers and then have a good suck.

 NIGHT OF THE LEPUS I made a bunny- he's at 23!!!! prims already  Silly bunny- decided to learn sculpt to make a less primmy bunny- but i don't like scultps much either cause the rez.

Further to that, make sure your rabbit is well-hung. Right now my local rabbits are very tasty since they are eating pine needles. They are still plump and the meat is super-tender. But they do need to hang a few days.
One of my luxuries on a couch in my house is a rabbit skin blanket, made up with 120 bunny skins. Really amazing cozy.
Of course I refer to my real house. I dont think rabbit blankets would go down well in sl.
