Want a name not in the list?

Hmmm yes since there are so many active names, yesterday I started another SLNameWatch bot. I guess my discount webhost didn't appreciate the doubling of incoming data. Usage data will have to come in at the normal pace for now. lots of names will have blank usage counts for a while, and the active ones might take longer than 7 days each to update. Heritage names might not ever get around to being re-counted, since they are lower priority.

I use Bluehost, and this is my only complaint about them . When the CPU usage gets too high, they display this nasty message to anyone visiting any page on the website. Funny thing is its not the user-requested web page that is causing the problem. All of the web pages you can pull up are very lightweight and not nearly enough to raise any CPU usage issues. However, the script that periodically updates the usage counts behind the scenes is pretty database-intensive. Ironically, the suspension does not halt the intense script that is triggering the fault. The horrible SUSPENDED message is there to embarrass me in front of my customers, i guess. I cut back a little on the incoming data, so the blanket suspensions should end.

What do you want for $100/yr. right? Someday maybe the website will make money and I can justify an upgrade ... errr something.

Strange thing... at the moment these RegAPIs have no names to chose from.

The official registration pages have also sometimes had zero names do choose from.

I think the registration system is having a very bad day today.

...seems to be back to normal, now.
