I tried to create another alt again, but I have 5 to my email so can't still, and chosing the start through other portals, like BigPond, TokyoOne, CSINY etc I discovered they have different name lists, perhaps they are chosen by the companies.

I really like one but it's long-gone! Sorry, no. Generally speaking, once retired, a last name can't be revived. But now, it is kind of difficult for my scripts to determine if a name is actually retired. My website might mark some names as retired if it doesn't see them in any of the registration portals for some time, about one day.... but that is not deterministic. its the best I can do for now with my limited information. In short, if it has been retired for more than a few weeks, consider it retired and don't count on ever being able to register a new account under it. If it has only been retired since like yesterday, then keep checking. _____________________

alot of those Jewish names with confusing alternate spellings are gone, today. They had about a 3-day, 20-person life-cycle. My website considers them all "heritage" now. But, since they didn't live a full life (1000s of registrants) I have a feeling LL will revive them someday.
