YES! I HAVE killed someone in SL!! Then I buried their Avatar in a shallow grave in an empty Sim that had build permissions! From what I understand, rumor has it that Jimmy Hoffa's Avatar is buried in Ahern.

But, are you asking if anyone believes they are in actuality committing MURDER of someone when they "kill" an avatar? If that's the case, I would give an unequivocal NO...I do not believe anyone commits murder, nor do they truly think they are committing murder. I suppose there is role play happening in SL that involves murder most foul, and participants may take that role play as far as they can possibly stretch it...but, I would think that it all kind of falls apart when the "deceased" comes back for another round of role play. Or...if that's not what you're asking...could you help enlighten me? Hand puppets and crayon drawings seem to work well to keep my attention...
