I did receive the email that the account was created. But I never activated it. What I am looking for is somewhere that says LL reclaims the avatar name after a certain period of time for someone else to use. According to Michael at LL, its 4 days but he couldnt tell me where exactly it is in the TSO and my eyes are going buggy from reading the dern thing.

Hmm I guess the other question is did you find anywhere saying they won't do so?
They would have to recycle names not activated other wise anyone could reserve every name from A to Z forever.

Exactly, plus, without it being activated it's like asking LL to read our minds that we wanted that name. Some people might create names just to tinker around but never intend on logging in/playing SL. As for the four day limit, I don't know. Maybe it's a new rule. Maybe it's mentioned in the email you're supposed to click on when you confirm registration.

About the rest of it, the relationship stuff, I have no advice.

your partner should not question it if he trusts you
he should just take your word on it

especially being it is a RL partner, he should know you well enough to trust you and know you are not lying

if he questions it or doesn't trust you, then you need to ask yourself why he doesn't and why you feel the need to prove yourself

Yeah ... What Rhaorth said ...
