And for the record, everyone has their own preferences. That's what makes all of us so unique, and we respect each other for whatever they do or whoever they are.
That said, I am vowing never to mention anything about shoes, feet, or anything I do that is seen as a "fixation" to other users in the future. I am also changing my custom user title to the default "Registered User" after I make this edit.
I think I need a much-needed vacation from these boards. I seem to ask a lot of questions - I asked questions to get answers, and I got the answers. Forums are meant only for asking questions when necessary, and to ask so many questions in a matter of a two week period is a bit much.
I will only return to these forums when I have something legitimate to ask, or if I can give legitimate answers to anyone who asks questions and I really know the answer. Wow - you have 59 posts and you think you need a vacation because you ask too many questions? Or are you just upset that you didn't get the answer you wanted. You seem to have shut down when we didn't tell you exactly how to so something that you can't do in Second Life. Ask all the questions you want. We'll answer them. But it's not fair for you to get snarky with people when the answer isn't one you like, or when you get answers and someone makes a joke. You can't delete items from the Library. That's how it is. We could have lied to you and told you that you could, but that wouldn't have been very nice. So, now the discussion is on how to manipulate inventory and Library. The thread should stay open because someone is likely to benefit from it.

I, for one, try very hard to continue instilling that sense of "community" by being friendly with my fellow forumites whever possible. I saw the same tone that a handful of other people did, and coupling it with asking for a lock in a thread where there was active, on-topic discussion going on made it seem as if you were angry at us for giving you answers you didn't like. I apologize if I misread your responses. They just came off as being angry and dismissive - which we seem to get a lot of around here. I'm glad you got a solution that worked for you. That -noinvlib trick is a good one, isn't it?

hmm, not sure if it's for the search only, but there are also filters for the inventory, unfotunetly the clothing filter is for all clothing. wonder if there's somewhere we could vote to extend that feature to be able to filter specific clothing/body parts
