The Twenty Ten is here? Time for a little year-end (WAY OVER) reflection! What do you see as your major accopmplishments, acheivements , or just joy-giving moments in this virtual playland of ours! MINE WERE the follin:
1. the resurrection of Slut Magazine. Have to every dame year after these pesky Lindens see fit to whack me oer the head with the suspension stick. My greatest joy for the twenty Ten is that I don't have to start all over one more time again!
2. the permabanning of a notorious griefer who was attempting to lurk over to the teen grid that we unmasked! (More on this in the new year!)
3. Our uncovering of the Redgrave Skin Scandal! the perps of this one continue to scurry and hide across the grid. Thank gawd they are running scared still!
4. ME getting unbanned on xstreet and the official linden blog! heheheheh maybe the SL Wiki and BanLink will be next!
5. Helping certain two sexbed makers continue to get their story out (a story they have been unable to gain fresh ears for as a CERTAIN UNAMABLE former partner made out with all the loot and subsequently power!) We will continue in the Twenty Ten to keep our foot on such an unmentionable persons neck!
That's mine lol what's urs?

I burnt out my video card, began burning out a second one, and also revealed my RL name to several people the first time in my 3 years here. I also "sold" my first freebie.
In another 12 years or so, I should be a force to be reckoned with.

I spent a lot of money and acquired many, many clothing items - and a few shoes, hairs and jewelry. also.
Oh - and I managed to stay married thru all that -- in RL, that is.

Let's see...
I cut my losses and eliminated the last of my retail sales of clothes and other items on XStreet-SL. They were not selling any more, and there was no sense in paying LL's proposed listing fees for things no one could find for sale, or which no one wanted to buy any more.
I eliminated several financial liabilities by removing my Freebies from XStreet-SL, before LL started charging a monthly fee for the privilege of giving things away for the public good.
I tried listing items for sale on a competing web sales site (that I dare not mention here), but have yet to sell a single L$ worth of merchandise there, mostly because LL prohibits mentioning or linking to any e-commerce site that they don't own.
I watched my income from in-world and web-based texture sales fall in half, but still made enough each month to be able to retain 70% of my former land area. Unfortunately I did have to let go of the other 30% of my land.
I managed to continue in my roleplay SL relationships, and still haven't had a breakup with the person I paired with when I joined SL in late 2005, and who became my Partner a year later.
And I submitted several bids for major sim building contracts that, if they come through in 2010, would between them net profits that will exceed my lifetime SL income to date.

Sorry, LL won't let me tell you where I sell my textures and where I offer my services as a sim builder. Ask me in-world.

The accomplishment was landing here in SL for the first time right at the end of 2009. I am loving my experience here and SL looks to make for an amazing 2010 for me.

I believe that would be slapt.me Of course, it could also be Apez.biz, Meta-life.net, or metaverseexchange.com . But I don't think so. <- has nothing to lose From: Imnotgoing Sideways some people believe I turned the virtual world upside down. /me raises her eyebrows and writes something quite different next to Immy's name, sadly. .

Well...decided to try a venture and it's expanded...so that's good I think?
On the "Free for Good" group...I had plans to begin it in earnest in the new year. I still do. In case anyone is wondering. "Changing Rooms" kept me way too busy...since it's the first time I've done everything there...simply shopping for seasonal decorations took ages. And like I said it's been expanding quickly recently.
But still planning to make a go of "Free for Good" - I have several ideas although it's a bit harder when it's a group of people. But then it's the type of thing that needs different input to make it work best.
If everyone drops out I can still make a go of it although I will be exhausted - even more so than now Lol.

Stopped development of SL objects and closed my store, saving 40 hrs or more per week, and am now earning real-world wages with that time.

I spent 500 hours or so creating this: Willow Cottage Ninety nine percent of the 200 plus textures were made from scratch - I thought I would never finish it. I am amazed any of my friends still talk to me, I got so tense and stressy towards the end. Thankfully it all turned out how I had wanted it too and it sells well

1. My SL6B Build and my Burning Life build were largely successful. More so, I gained the respect of those involved with these events.
2. I increased my land holdings in Bay City and Shermerville, gained a plot in Nova Albion, all whole closing out my time in Hundertwasser.
3. I achieved my building objectives in all of the above (though the Nova Albion build did not get completed 'til this year).
4. I managed to weather some dramas in my Second Life, with some success.
5. I ran the Bay City anniversary parade.
6. My photos were "Best of Snapzilla" twice
7. I helped out on a couple large "for pay" builds, and gained the respect of my co-workers on same.
8. I by and large managed to gain and keep the respect of others in Bay City during some difficult times.
9. I helped guide policy in this world as a Resident.
10. I found a golden heart and a golden egg due to my knowledge of things mainland.
11. I helped shape the design of an Info Hub.
12. I made some amazing new friends, and strengthened friendships with older ones.

Managed to stay in business and keep the sim. That is good enough for a year in SL like 2009 was.
