SK Designs at Devilfish Mall...Shaku also makes furniture and clothing.

There's also another furniture stall at the mall, Affinity - some posters on one of the walls in there which you might want to check out!

And a store called 'art and rugs' which sells err...art and rugs! They have quite a wide variety so you'll probably spend a while looking through that one.

You should definitely check out Gazira Babeli's work as Spinster mentioned....Coooooool stuff

It's probably worth checking out the art events list too - many of the galleries around SL put work up for sale.

Photo Art by Tango has some AWSOME vivid and colorful graphic photographs. Tango has a Key West exhibit in the gallery now with the funniest looking drag queen, unusual street signs... etc. Check it out!

Yes, I guess this really isn't the medium for original artwork. Everyone is just so talented anyway, buying someone else work just seems . . ..

I had my own place up from July to the end of October, and my art in world since April, but I only advertised once, so I was just curious if people that work a little harder actually get anyone to look at their stuff.

Lexxi, personally - I would prefer to buy originals from someone. Wish there was more of this out there. There is a photographer I love inworld, does work from NYC (where I'm from) and I appreciate that he's trying to get his vision out there. I say go for it. If I ever get my home up and running and your work fits into my scheme, I'd buy it for sure.

Personally I like doing original artwork, hand drawn textures and I creating for being creative and artistic purposes and usually no other reason. And sometimes I create for others for upload cost, or little money or even free but usually I just create for creating.
I found it really stressful and annoying to go about find ways to promote myself when I really rather just create and learn and it took me a way from just being able to create, learn and improve my art skills.
Perhaps some day when I am expert it will be different but I doubt I will ever get to point I know everything about Art and Content that would allow me to feel comfortable promoting my Art to make money at it..
Renting shops, etc all seems bit wasteful to me at this point but that just me.
It is really hard as Artist to get noticed unless you're doing something pretty incredible here, musician or skin maker.
I just don't have desire to make my Art something I am constantly needing to promote to get noticed.
Sometimes it bugs me when I come up with something I think is very good or put lot of thought, effort and creativity into and I don't have anyone to share or discuss it with but that's what my blog is for.
Even if very few people see it.
