Mine have always been dealt with promptly. The last one I did 2 days ago was sorted overnight.

Mine too. I think my longest was two days.

Perhaps you aren't providing all the necessary information when you submit your ticket. Did you remember to include the coupon for a sensual massage?

About a month ago I submitted a ticket asking for a sim restart, provided full details as to which sim, copied from Help>About as well as details of why I was posting the request.

Three weeks and a few rolling restarts later I got a reply that the sim seemed fine but they restarted it anyway. *shrugs*

Oh, and I am concierge level.

Haven't submitted a ticket since.

Yes, I forgot that coupon. :) I will admit, the oldest support ticket will require some tedious work for at least 30 minutes or so. You may draw your own conclusions. There is plenty of detail on it for them to work on my request.

Mine date back to late 2004. They changed bug reporting systems since then so I doubt they'll ever be replied to.

My favorites though were the ones reported on the beta grid that got bulk closed with a message like "Well we released the beta to general so your report is now considered invalid. If the bug report that you generously sent to us still exists in the main release, which it probably does since we ignored it during beta, please report it again". Those made me feel all warm inside.

I submitted a ticket regarding a 16m cut on the edge of my land, which cut into my plot. Over 30 days went by and I submitted a request for an update. Then a few days later, Guy Linden contacted me about the plot, he was casually flying by and set it for me. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

It counts. Can we say "inconsistent" ? Trust me, I am being kind in this thread.

Mine was sent on 10/3/ As of today, ZERO action. since it is a billing problem and they have MY money, I don't expect much in the way of a prompt response.

I can recoup my loss by downgrading to basic and it appears that is what I will have to do.

question: how many of you with aged tickets are concierge level members?

Depends upon what you call aged. I raised a billing ticket on 29th September and closed it myself because the issue didn't arise, although no support person actually responded and I'm concierge.

I'm boring i guess. All my tickets have been resolved withing three days or earlier, including all kinds of issues, billing as well.

Talking of concierge support, I've just been on live chat and found the support to be wonderful.

I've only ever used live chat twice and both times the support has been wonderful.

Live chat is wonderful, although I use it only for what I consider "emergencies". I'm asking about routine support tickets, and I'm concierge level. The inconsistency shown in this thread is amazing, to put it kindly.

Well that's the reason I've only used it twice, I don't like going down that route unless I feel I really have to.

My experience with routine support tickets has definitely been inconsistent. One was sorted in half an hour.

Whereas the last one I opened on September 29th and closed myself on October 12th without anyone from support commenting on the ticket.

Whether or not a ticket gets resolved is probably down to 3 things.

1) The amount of work needed to resolve it
2) Does the Linden looking at the ticket have the ability to do what's required ?
3) Are they bovvered ?

Mine have always been dealt with in under 24 hours.

learn how to talk to customer support, be breif, and pay $9 a month.

customer support is ALWAYS the first thing to get reduced.

Fortunately, I've never had to avail myself of the Help and Support System.

Live chat is amazing... but IS it there only for emergencies, or for anything?

I would imagine that, for technical problems, it would be "anything" - but I have noticed that if your ticket involves billing, it will sit there for weeks, even if you want to give them money but need to know how to do it the right way. And this is at the supposed concierge level.
