I am not sure what directions I should go with this.

My Girlfriend slept over at my house last night, I live in a Low Traffic, High End Sim. She stays "online" most always as she is a Resort owner.

I logged off, she stayed, didn't dress, and left her "girl" bits (trying to be tactful here) left on. Some ahhhhh.... Pervert came into my house and manipulated her private area for his own amusement....

She realized this because she checked here log when she woke up and has the entire 30 line chat event.

SO... I have his name, subsequently his profile... some of the groups he is associated with apprear to be legitimate and one is a RL Non-proft.... I was thinking about sending the log entries to every one groups he is associated with.

My friend Laughed off... but the notecard with the log entry was entiled (Name)'s Rape

Any Feed back would be greatly appreciated

Seriously, worst idea ever. Ban and mute. AR if it makes you feel better, but don't expect anything to come of it. If you send the chat out to his groups, you are inviting all sorts of grief and retribution over something that should be a non-event.



This isn't a rape and it isn't an assault. There are people in real life who have been physically attacked, raped and seriously wounded, and it's insulting to them to compare what they have had to go through to a silly virtual groping of an avatar. I'm not trying to be a jerk here, really, but your friend laughed it off; so should you. Tell her to log off, or to remove her interactive vagina and put some pants on when she's not with you.

At most, send the notecard to the guy, titled something else; tell him that he's been banned from the land and muted and ask him to leave you and your GF alone. Honestly, that's all I would do.

personally I would get all of the revenge I could. I have seen animations that attack people in safe areas as well as other places that rape an avatar. This may be SL not RL but violations of this type is definately griefing. If you have the recording and his name report him. I would definately contact his groups. I would not however send them any "proof" of the matter.

Trout's right. To call it a rape is completely wrong. She should have just logged off, for crying out loud. She laughed it off. You're over reacting. If you reeeeeeeeally want to get upset at the idea that some guy wanked off in front of a keyboard because your virtual girlfriend was "asleep" in your virtual house wearing her virtual parts, go for it. Oh, and if your gf tends to leave her girl bits on and active all the time, maybe you and she should go shopping for girl bits that are a little less openly social. Many have access lists that she could put - for example - your name on, and anyone who is not on the list would get no result when they click or whatever. The list is private to her.

I believe some also also have a single-button "open access" control that she could use if she wanted to instantly disable the access list. Not that she would ever. Of course.
