I think Second Life has a big, incredibly big, brilliant circle in the sky, flooding the Linden universe with lethal radiation of an intensity that surpasses comprehension.
I could be wrong though. _____________________

Thanks, Damien. I'll give it a try.
I know it sounds cryptic, but I was hoping to grab the attention of the right people without causing a big debate. |

Now how would a sewing circle cause global warming? I mean that would have to be one big blanket!

have you tried pagan, or nature or religion, or pentagram
or try any of the 5 basic beliefs, if there are groups out there, they might have those in their info (you have already put one here, but not sure if you tried a search on it) trying to think of other words that might help _____________________

I know a few pagan groups, and a druid circle, and a hadful other other below top 3 religious folks... oddly no wiccan circles, at least not in SL...

~Wiccans and Pagans~ seems about as close as I can get and they look to be an active group. I'm not sure how I missed this group when I first started looking.
Thank you all for your help. Feel free to point, laugh and throw stones if you feel like now. Just throw them at me and not at each other, please. |

Very active group that might be what you are looking for. |

It appears the circles in Donald's avatar are meeting constantly.

Try searching for Sublime Goddess or Season's Alter, two places I'd recommend

i was a part of wiccans and pagans. They have circles and events on the sabbats etc. I left it purely because it wasnt what I was looking for at the time, but it may be what you are looking for

As soon as I am inworld I will be happy to rezz you a circle!~ MMzzz prolly should have resisted the urge to make this non-contribution... well I typed it so I will submit it! Marcel _____________________

You might try Mystic Academy too -- it's not directly pagan, but you're liable to get a lot of leads from the people you might meet there.
Just searching on the obvious keywords tends to be an exercise in frustration, leading only to hundreds of ads that throw "gorean medieval pagan wiccan" into their keywords for the heck of it and then hundreds more that think Wicca is just a fashion statement or marketing ploy. Searching within groups alone will be more helpful, but half of them will be fantasy roleplaying groups or ones with poorly written charters so you can't tell whether they're real or RP. The OP is far more likely to get useful information from asking here (or any other real people) than from the database. ![]() |

As soon as I am inworld I will be happy to rezz you a circle!~ ![]() This is something I keep running into, it's hard to find which pagan groups are wiccan. It's like looking for a Lutheran church and every thing is labeled Protestant. |

We might laugh a little if you tell a good joke, but pointing and throwing stones would just be rude. Welcome to the forums, BTW.
Your last post cleared it up a little for me. I hadn't made the distinction between pagan and wiccan, although if I had thought about it, it would have made sense. I guess the fun will be in trying different groups until you find one that is right for you. Also, if you look at a group, you should be able to tell who the leaders are. Try IM'ing them and tell them what you're looking for. They should be able to tell you if their group works. Dang. I saw a place that specialized in wiccan supplies for SL. I wish I could remember the name. It had a bunch of notecards on wiccan traditions and how the supplies were used. I'll see if I can find it again and IM you in-world if I can locate it. The owner of that place would be a pretty good resource, I imagine. _____________________
