I sell something I call Camera Lock that I made for photography but in RL I'd use its teleport feature. Any place I can see I can teleport. Not sure how to disable camera constraints or alt-zoom all the way to the grocery store, though.

I'd like to be able to Make Waves. And have cetaceans jumping just where I want them. (Though I suppose that's less a Product than it is Trans-Species Slavery. Or something.)

But since I don't live on the ocean in non-digital life, I guess I'd settle for doors that open with a nice 'ca-click' sound when I simply raise my arm at them.

Personal Flight

Teleportation, that speaks for itself.

On personal flight, I believe I have come as close as I ever will to personal flight in this real life world.

I had a high level character in World of Warcraft, a Druid. At level 70 you learn a useful trick, and that is the ability to turn into a bird that can fly. The software emulation actually comes close to what it may feel like, for example you have to learn to fly by judging, and a type of "feeling" the wind under your wings.

Anyone else have a high level Druid in WoW?

(For those who play WoW here he was on an old style PvE realm and I deleted him because in the old days he could never transfer to a PvP server. Damn shame in the event. Am now a level 80 Hunter)

I never played WoW, but took a Druid in EQ to level 63 and LOVED some of the things that character could do. I've said over and over again I would LOVE to be able to have the ability to be invisible in SL. There are ways, but that danged name tag is still there. At higher levels in EQ the Druid had "Flight of Eagle" that was a combo fly, invis and SoW (Spirit of Wolf - faasssst speed). The bird in WoW does sound interesting.

i used to just love flying on the gryphs in there..
i have all the outside of the map mapped..well not the newest expansion yet but the rest of the old world and all the nice places ..it would be nice to fly all over..

Yes, Druids have shape change, from memory

Bear Form, Cat Form, Fish Form, Armoured Form, and at level 70 Bird flight form, and finally (I think with The Lich King expansion in Northrend) fast Flight form at level 71.

You have to pay gold at the trainers, but its not a mount.

To fly in Northrend you need cold weather flying, costs 1,000 gold learned at the trainer in Dalaren, but Outlands is free.
