Yes i agree too a extent there are problems all over but it's not just the free accounts, like what was stated earlier it's payed accounts as well. You also have too understand where people live too me $10 may not be alot off money when it is converted into my currency but to alot of people that can mean the gas bill, electric bill etc. I'd still i refuse too spend it anyway as i don't see the actual point of having land i'd never use.
I think if Linden labs actually got too action and did not sit on there arses all day long it might help.
You don't need too be rid of free accounts just have stricter rules, i mean for one you could limit the alts people have, have a sort of 3 strike rule. You can always ban a address from your system as well.
There are many ways too do this without banning free accounts.

I was at an infohub yesterday where there was a very annoying resident who was on borderline of being in the griefing category. He was a paid resident, joined 2006!

The thriving market for weapons and anti-griefer devices suggests that griefers are not damaging the SL economy at all.

From: Callila Lilliehook I have to agree with you on that point, but you also say;
which is a direct contradiction to you other statement, let me explain why.
I run several RL businesses and am in the process of building an in-world business. I am spending money in-world for land tier, building, fixtures, texture uploads, decor for my store, exclusive designs from several designers, etc. Why should I be made to pay more just because I want to start a business in SL?
Again, as I stated in my earlier comment on this thread, I can spend my money myself my way and don't need the OPs, or for that matter your help, in doing so. While you may have a valid point, you don't invalidate Isabeau's point. Isabeau was suggesting that those who wish to make money from SL should be willing to pay into it, but those who wish to make purchases do not neccessarily have that obligation. Why, in other words, should customer's pay an entrance fee just to set foot in the store?

From: Usagi Musashi what i don`t understand is why doesn LLABS allow those free acoount to pay 9.95 a month without the forcing them to upgrade to full membership?. Please clarify what you mean. It sounds like you are saying people should be made to pay $9.95 a month but get no benefits whatsoever.
