It might be better just to go out and buy a decent nVidia card. Suitable ones are cheap enough.
Sadly, the Dell Inspiron 1525 is a laptop, and the Dell website doesn't offer any upgrade path other than adding memory.

Pity. When I got my laptop, I looked at some and saw them perform with 3D stuff, but the one I bought wouldn't work with SL. So I took it back and swapped it for one that has nVidia graphics built-in. I wasn't bothered how good it performed, as long as it performed. I only wanted it for the store models, which ran in viewers at the time. I don't use it at all now.

Start > put in “drivers” > update device drivers > display adapters- mobile Intel® 965 express chipset family properties > driver > update driver > search automatically for updated driver software.

Went to intel and upgraded as told.
I know your trying to help me out and I thank you for all you’ve done so far but all I can say now is it can’t be a computer issue. I’ve done everything you said and nothings working. Also doesn’t make sense to suddenly stop working when just two weeks ago it worked fine and i've been playing SL for nearly a year without this ever happening till now.

There's a couple issues working against you right now that, in all fairness, has little to do with your computer per se. LL has recently done some server upgrades to introduce new or bugged aspects of the platform software. Those upgrades seem to have produced some additional lag to many users (myself included though it's not what I'd call excessive). It might be that the upgrades is putting more on the individual users computer hardware.........that would help explain the added lag. As has happened many times in the past when LL introduces server upgrades it often takes a few weeks to sort out all the problems that the upgrade produced or made more problematic. They always seem to fix it a few weeks before the next upgrade...........I know that's annoying however I've grown to mostly accept it and continue on.

So saying it can't be your computer could be both right and wrong...........until this latest upgrade you were able to run SL satisfactorily for your use. If the upgrade had not been done then you might not have had this problem. But in order for SL to progress they do need to upgrade the software.........otherwise SL would still look a lot like it did 5 years ago which would be entirely unacceptable to anyone. Your computer being so low spec'd will show any problems more severely than a higher spec'd one. Your computer will eventually be made useless much quicker than a higher spec'd one. Each upgrade brings you closer to that point where your computer will simply not run SL under any circumstances...........it will eventually out run my computer too but I have a little more time to either upgrade or get a newer, better one than you do

Sorry, I know you don't want to hear something like that but it's a sad fact.
