From: Skell Dagger Perhaps that was Ms. Bliss's solution to her question about blocking avatars under 30 days old from entering her RP sim Never did go through with the 30 day block...that was intended for the urban rp, the sim is now medieval themed which is less stressful!

From: Chris Norse As for her treatment, this is a very mild forum. If you can't handle this place, you don't belong on the interwebs. So you are saying that only 'rude and obnoxious' people should be in these forums...and the nice should go elsewhere? What does that make you????

I am saying that if you are so delicate you can't handle the very mild criticism that you find on this board that maybe the internet is a bit much for you. As for what I am, I am a loud arrogant redneck. I proudly wear that title.

As for what I am, I am a loud arrogant redneck. I proudly wear that title. Then I appoligize...and I am not delicate in the way of the web. But it's not right to assume you need to be a vicious person to read and post here in the forums. There are nice, friendly people here too, and I have met quite a few of them. But it seems like these forums have become all drama scenes, and the good posts are quickly turned into 'As the stomach turns' soap operas.

From: Nika Talaj *laughs* There ya go! If a thread goes rollicking off into the woods, may as well go along and enjoy the scenery! You're right, Nika....just exploiting the thread to pad my post count, in order to reach the 1000 post threshold that holds all the perks. You caught me. But it's OK....Angelique and Sexxxy are my alts. Sorry Angelique. Sorry Sexxxy. I'll double that alt allowance so you can buy some new dresses for the weekend.

Hi Damien! G stands for guinea pig. My forum pic is that of a hamster. Strange how a random photo has become my persona. I'm actually much closer to Brad Pitt in real life (with the only similarity being we both have two legs and no tail).

It might've been mentioned before. I can't remember.
But how about, for the new 'undead thread,' a "random acts of kindness" thread?
Name names or not but it could be a thread in which to thank people for a random act of kindness. Not to gush or embarrass people but just to let others read about and know that SL is still a nice place.
Fact I think I'll go start that thread now. =)

From: Pserendipity Daniels I've been away from this thread for a bit. May I recap?
So Mickey is supporting Angelique, a shameless but naive long time lurker but now big-time self-promoter, and her associate, the subtly named Sexxxy who has some bizarre ideas about denying potential customers access to retail premises?
And they are all three whinging about being called on a pathetically transparent guerrilla advertising"strategy" by those who know a sitting duck when they see one - or three?
I'm in!
Pep (Are they all Mickey's alts?) What's wrong with being a lurker? You can learn much and don't get your feelings stepped on while doing so. And Pep: Although I don't put others down for it, I do understand some of the exception you take to bad grammar. For instance, the title of this thread bothers me because "genuine" needs to be "genuinely". Angelique: Thanks for your post! You've given me (and I'm sure others) a new place to visit and shown that public opinion is not necessarily a true indicator of an individual's character. SeXXXy: Don't get all bent out of shape. Most of the posts here are lighthearted fun. Takes this thread as Friday fun. No one is being vicious, and those critical of Angelique are a small number.

A misunderstanding....
07-10-2009 11:48
From: Pserendipity Daniels So Mickey is supporting Angelique, a shameless but naive long time lurker but now big-time self-promoter, and her associate, the subtly named Sexxxy who has some bizarre ideas about denying potential customers access to retail premises? Ok, let me clear this up.... First, I am not Angelique's associate… I don't even know her except for showing her around my sim and I have no control over what anyone posts here (like Eli seems to think he has). I was inquiring about the 30 day block for the previous Urban RP theme due to the griefers and trouble makers as a deterrence, as 'bizarre' as it sounds. The sim is now a Medieval RP theme, and the mentioned 'retail premises' is just the entry hub that sells items you might want/need for this RP. Although there are merchant stalls and wagons to rent it is not just a retail sim. NO ONE is denied entry to this new theme, and I would like people to visit us...but wait, that would be promoting and I hear that is not allowed here.

I can't believe I just said this -much less even thought about it. Let me go wash my mind out with soap for thinking these dirty thoughts. As for you, Connolly. I may even call you Brenda one day.
