There is also a tool I make available for free at my shop in world (check my profile) and on SLX at
http://uncensored.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=594777 that will probably help you. It is aimed at an even more insidious class of griefer or griefer object that is somehow able to make the mal-labelled chat appear in white, as if it came from the avatar and not an object, but this tool, called Who Said That? will work just as well to identify an object that posts in green. It will give you the name and UUID of both the speaking avatar or object AND the owner of it, which is even better. On the occasions when I have used it myself, the ARs I filed IDing both speaker and owner got VERY quick results from LL, and I am not even a premium account. They seem to like it when you make it really easy for them to ID and delete a seriously griefing object or avatar. ; ) |

The HUD driven system I use will not work in no script areas. As for the ones that do, they are just prims without scripts. _____________________

As for the ones that do, they are just prims without scripts. Full working umm! parts can be scripted to work with a huddy blue menu thing even on no-script parcels. I'm surprised to hear that no one has made one yet. Although, what you doing in a no-script area with your thingy out anyway =p =) |

WARNING! Don't trust Day Oh !!! You need to calm down. Day Oh is very helpful and I've never seen any accusations of malicious behavior in that direction. Also, you've given the griefer in your opening post exactly what they wanted. They do what they do to garner a reaction...yours would be very gratifying to them. _____________________

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

That does kind of put a damper on what accessories might do (and lots of them do get installed in no script areas, so oh well). _____________________

Day Oh and its SLProxy is an external program (*.exe and *.dll files) to track an avatar ID over IMs. A program? Made of exe and dll files?!! What will they think of next? I am not sure what else can happen if you instal this on your PC! I've heard things about this libopenmv. Rumor has it that it lets you _log into Second Life_ and _do stuff_. Virus Scanner doesnt warn you! The nerve! there is another one you have to watch out for, some shady outfit that goes by the name "Linden Lab." Their so-called program is the same way, all .exe and .dll files! Who knows what's in them? And the virus checker didn't say anything about those either. I'll bet you they're in cahoots with this Day Oh (like that's a real name HA!) character. _____________________

That does kind of put a damper on what accessories might do (and lots of them do get installed in no script areas, so oh well). Thats not good when scripts do that kind of thing. Turn other things off or change them without permission. Its a bit annoying sometimes. Like when websites override your homepage setting without asking you, just because you agreed to sign-up with them. It may be in the ToS fine print somewhere, but a simple dialog asking if you would to like do this is always a lot better in my opinion. |

I'm not sure where you get your information, but I can assure you that Xcite! bits do not turn off other scripts. You may see a message that warns you that a non-Xcite! script has been placed into your item, but that's for your security so that you are aware of it. We don't turn them off at all. - Javier, Xcite! |
