Hello, my friend and me got attaked on a dance place where no scripts are allowed. Someone wrote very annoying text messeges in the open chat window (the text was in a green color) showing the first and last name of my friend plus bad words that made other people belive the message come from her.
How can we find out about the sorce/griefer. What tool makes that? Thank you for your help!

Many HUDs will do this - Mystitool is one of them.
Green text is always from an object. No one should believe your friend said these things. _____________________

No-scripts means nothing if it's worn. All my scripts work regardless of no-scripts or no-push. But I never put a whole avatar name into my mimic script. That's beyond rude and just mean. (>_<

Both of these things are absolutely trivial to write by the way, about thirty seconds of any decent scripter's time, though of course decent scripters don't bother wasting their time with that sort of nonsense. _____________________

Because the Lindens have no control over how gullible your friends are? I am pretty sure they have control coz my friend isnt the first victim and there have been tons of reports about this nasty tool. As I know the Linden they wont even answer to to her repot! my dancer's hud can do it, probably lots of huds can do it. It's set up so that I can type in /# to select the channel, then I just type /me and my chatter appears in the same color as the dancer emotes.
I agree it wasn't very nice but you might wanna go buy a thicker skin lol |

Like getting re-hidden, or ... um ... changing degree of arc.  _____________________
