First of all, I'm using them in Gorean sims only, where people come to fight. I'm not an griefer. I just want to do a good fight and have fun.
I will have some better stuff than the free ones. Looking for a bow with a large amount of arrows, long reach and good destruction. Do some bows fire nets? What about close battle man to man? Is there better stuff than swords?
Fighting HUD's? Binding down prisoners? I was in some shops but they offer zero information. I won't have something that just look good, but some that is better than free stuff.

Chain guns! Find a chain gun and say you are from Gor's future.

A future Gorean society? You mean a place where male and female are equal members of society, all we can do is hope!

It is starting, didn't you read in the other thread about the Gorean Abolition movement starting? Plus the Forum hangout is now a safe haven for any escaped Gorean Love Slaves.

Ok Gor is an off-topic here? I spoke with a girl who was kneeling all the time, asked what a nice girl did in such a place. She wanted to be a slave and was all happy with it. If they don't bother beeing slaves, why should I try to free them? It's not that i feel abowe women RL but it's a set of Roleplay rules.
I like the idea of that Gorean sims don't allow shields. Means I have to practice to avoid getting killed. I just want to sign up as a warrior someplace, serve the city, protect my people and kick some ass when attacked.

Gor isn't off topic, but it is a topic of great mirth and merriment. Most Gor threads end rather badly.
If you want to find out about the Gorean cities, search for one, TP to it and then ask questions of someone.
Oh, and watch out for Furries, Goreans and Furries attack each other on sight. Their blood feud will last the ages, or at least until SL closes down.

I can't answer your question on where to get good bows etc, but I suggest you go to the Gor sims and ask around of people who have been around a while. Those with tags showing they are leaders should know quite a bit. Gor tends to get off topic pretty quick on this forum, best to get advice in world. EDIT: These look like what you are asking: http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=194435http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=130270

Thanks Denise, that one was just what I'm asking for! *bows*
And yes, I just started looking around, but found mostly slavegirls and they don't say much about weapons. Maybe it was Thanksgiving that has kept people away. Got a free bow and some practice, but then that one got empty for arrows to fast. Was intresting enough to make me pull out the creditcard.

In a hundred years, the Furry-Gorean fued will just be another lame tourist attraction like all the stuff labeled Hatfield-McCoy this-and-that that you see driving through West Virginia.

I openly admit that im Gor in world .... not all the time, but im a member of the Tuchuk. which is one of the wagon people.
Many think that Gor is pretty much about slaves and sex *lol* ... and I am pleased to say far from the truth .. yes its RP and the Kajira part is essential... but things like raiding parties ....trade... and warfare is also JUST as important. To the point thats there more of a meatmarket in the club scene.
I would say that Tuchuks might be a good place to start ... or in deed mopst cities etc, just keep an open mind and research the RP and you wont go far wrong.
As for Denise being anybodies Kajira ...... believe me ..... wont happen ... aint that right baby *winks*

Look in Weapons of the Warlord (Everwind Sim).. I think 'Bow of the Marksman' is a pretty good one.

From: Dekka Raymaker A future Gorean society? You mean a place where male and female are equal members of society, all we can do is hope! Why would that be a good thing? I wish I lived in Gor, then when my wife nags me I could back hand and say "Shut up, biatch and make me some puddin'!"; then I'd violently sexually assault her. That would rock.

From: Sally Silvera /me blushes I was kinda pleased with it too actually Seriously, just wanted to say welcome It just amuses me when people post on a question thread to basically say "I don't know the answer to your question." There are close to six billion people in the world who don't know the answer to this question. Imagine if they all posted to say so. Actually, that would be pretty cool now that I think of it.

Alex Fitzsimmons makes some of the finest Swords in SL, Her selection is small, but you are buying real quality, and they have been Made compatible with all of the various Arena Combat systems Commonly used on the Gor Sims.

The ultimate Gore weapon is a banana cream pie.
Shaken, not stirred.
