Welcome to the forums Aki. As our new, temporary moderator we need some way to get a hold of you or bring to your attention abuse reports, security vulnerabilites disclosed in the forums etc. In my particular case I was going to bring to your attention that the bbcode stickie has expired and should be replaced. Hopefully of course with a fix date, but we will take what we can get

My theory is that the mods are just bored of hearing people whine and have decided not to allow anyone to contact them. They will find out everything they need to know about on their routine patrols, I'm sure.

I am not sure if we are meant to self-moderate a bit more, or whether it is being left alone on purpose, or if there are just no staff to do the work.., and/or what the consequences would be, say, for Resident Answers if things got messy here (so far it hasn't.... /me crosses his flippers).
