I just completed a huge scale immersive ride for "Alice in Wonderland", it's worth a look.

It's not a whole sim, but it is a huge amount of work, extremely detailed, and a fun time.

Oh, that Alice one reminds me that there is an adult Alice role-play sim out there. Forgot the name.

There's a Ringworld build (not a full sim) in one of the science sims. Of course, that's science fiction not fantasy, but since I'm the OP I don't have to be consistent ![]() _____________________

Let's buy a sim or 4 and build Gormenghast! . That is a GREAT idea! (/starts thinking about a Swelter avatar and gets a bit queasy) I'd also love to see a sim based on the Sandman comics(OK, they're graphic novels - is that cheating?). I checked out the Endless sims and was disappointed they were just using the name, not the settings. |

The city of Tar Valon from Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series is currently located in the Tar Valon sim. It too is getting ready to move because of the OS situation, but for right now that's where it is. _____________________

I'd love to see a sim based on Stephen King's Dark Tower series.
That world would be amazing with the tower, the beams, guardians, breakers, etc. |

I liked the Alice in Wonderland/Jabberwocky sim but the RP is mature/dark, in case it matters to those going.

Well, Gaiman was inworld about a year ago (promoting the Beowulf film). So ... I bet he's knocking around somewhere! Find him and you'll have a sponsor for your Sandman sim! I get to be Death, i always liked her. Or maybe Delirium. . I wish I'd known about that! I'm a huge Gaiman fan. There was a good Death avatar posted on Snapzilla a few years back. http://www.sluniverse.com/snapshots/112647.jpg I actually started work on Death and Delirium avatars, but I'm lousy at textures and gave up. I did create Delirium's fish as particles, and they're pretty cool. |

The town of Innsmouth from the Lovecraft novels on the October Country sim. Nice and creepy I believe they do some role-playing there too.http://slurl.com/secondlife/October%20Country/165/104/25 Last time I checked it out, they had RP, but it was scripted, more like watching/acting in a play. And YES....I would love to see a Dark Tower sim, also. Or, since a single sim wouldn't really work, a series of them. For instance, one sim of Lud, another sim of Thunderclap, etc. _____________________

Thrilled about Pern, I've read all the books. I suggested a sim based on the Pern books ages ago on some other thread, (or maybe some other forum, can't remember) but no one answered.
