How Do your transfer some L$ to anouther account?

If I understand your question, the easiest way to transfer lindens between two accounts is to buy the L$'s wiith one of your avatars and then pull up the profile of the other avatar and select "pay" and enter the amount you want that account to have.

You may be attempting to buy in excess of your billing limit. Brand new residents are limited in the amount of L they can purchase and sell. Check the billing limit page, there is a link to it from your account page.

Yes, but you must add a minimum of $25 USD to your account - at least, that is what it told me the last time I wanted to buy L. So, theoretically, you can't buy anything until you can purchase $25 USD. Duh, Lindens.

I've only ever seen the $25 minimum on the 'Increase Your Credit' link...you should be able to buy Lindens without adding to your USD balance here: http://www.secondlife.com/currency/buy.php

It makes you log off? It makes me reenter my log in info, but it never actually makes me log off.

Alex you are required to enter your login information again (and yes, it logs you off if you don't). That is normal.

Are you doing a market buy or a limit buy?

If the premium membership counts against your total, you can only buy 2.50 worth of L if you are premium quarterly. (stupid - what if you bought annually? you're stuck not being able to buy anything at all for weeks and they won't give you the 1k bonus until 45 days later).

I didn't do the final submit, but there's a confirmation message at the end. At no time did I have to log off.
