We are getting a flood of new folks - most probably wanting sex or some sort of virtual affair.

Grid Status page does say there are lots of issues, including Login issues -- I did just now successfully log in.

No. They disable all logins. They don't kick anyone out who is already in either. They talked about giving Premium Accounts priority access, but never followed through on it.

kicking the basic accounts out wont fix the issues when there main cluster takes a dump on there feet. They shut it down they do it for all. They tryed that limited login once and found it to be disasterous and wont be doing it ever again they said. so when this happens just sit there and click login like alot of us do. lol :)

they used keep out free accounts then next would have been basic then premiums..

and just so ya know Basic accounts spend way more in SL than Premiums..We Wins whoooo \o/!!!!

a lot of us used to be premiums and realized our 9.95 a month would be better in our pockets since there really is no difference now days..you give yours direct to LL we buy stuff with ours and give it Direct to the community and it works it's way to LL..trickle up economics lol :D
heck you even get part of your 9.95 back from LL each Tuesday which is probably because of us basics haviing to strip down for the Lindens all the time hence the word stripend..
Basics are what keeps the lights on dangnabit!!
someone get me the electric bill..it's bill goin over time!! hehehehe

don't mind me i'm just messing around and i hope coming off as playing more than serious..
i was up all night in SL and still haven't went to sleep.. :D
maybe if they keep it shutdown long enough i'll fade off in time to be late for work in the morning hehehe

a) There's no difference between free and basic accounts. There IS a difference between basic PIOF and basic NPIOF, although that difference would not be relevant here.

b) No, they didn't.

c) Currently there's close to 75 k people online. I really don't remember ever seeing that many before. Just thought I'd mention that because so far no one else has. ;)

If thousands of bots and campers are able to stay in the world, while hard-$L-paying residents that rent land can't get in - well, we've got a serious, serious problem here.

I wonder who really needs to foot the bill for all this excessive resource usage I've been hearing about (and about to pay for) lately.

sorry just using what was used the last thread i remember that was separating them showing three types of accounts..i should have said NPIOF instead of free lol

and yes they did use the order before..i was there..i could get on with my premium but not my alt..i'll have to see if i have pay info on it or not but i remember it was NPIOF that were either booted or or if it was both that and PIOF..there was even a thread going on about it back when it happened.even a quote from the blog in the thread..don't ask me what day because heck if i remember lol

and i've never seen 70k online let alone 75k

It's obvious that the reason they won't do it again is because of all the corporate users who don't have a premium account and you don't have to be premium to own a island or 10 or 100, I think they were the ones who complained heavily to LL.

i see the confusion and it's my fault in my wording and leaving off a coma..lack of sleep does that to me hehehehe

that was meant as the order they used..
i said
they used keep out free accounts then next would have been basic then premiums..

if i would have meant it as they always did it i n the past i would have said
they used to keep out the free accounts then the basic and then premiums..

when i should have said..
the order was, keep out free accounts then next would have been basic then premiums..

my mistake hehehehe :o

i am Off to bed!! i hope lol

There's been several articles about SL Affairs breaking apart marriages in the mainstream media. The weekend influx is probably because of that.

That problem started along time ago and being fixed since they got M hired as CEO, get rid of the users so no one complains

Maybe the whole story was a LL marketing tool ;)
