My friend said she had 30 people who came and bought items 2 bought more then one like 5 items, 3 items but she sales clothes that you mod/transfer.
I wonder if they were going to try to sale them, she said maybe she didn't mind.
I can understand why someone might not want to sell transferable item but what is thing about no mod clothes especially prim ones? I have never figured that out.

I dont know about the clothes but objects (and probably clothes prim parts) some ppls rip apart and use the bits and pieces in their own builds...

hell thats how i learned how to build by ripping freebies apart :D

there is a script i have in one of my hair .. that lets you resize by a certain percent.. i think thats great especially for ppl who are still not confident about editing the size of things themselves

but i know with furniture .. especially when you have set the sit target inside a prim.. you allow mod and more often than not quite a few ppl will get back to you complaining that their furniture is broken.. change the prim size and the sit target gets all weird...

much easier to put colour/texture change scripts in than dealing with a ton of IM from ppl who claim .. your stuff broke ^^

One of my dollarbies is actually a chair that becomes bigger on click ..

I like to do RANDOM giveaways, not tell someone that I wanna give away stuff on X-date, at Y-time. I want to do it when I feel like it. Like tonight, I wanted to. So I looked at the freebie groups.. None still allowed me to give anything away.

I like to do the same thing - offer dollarbies/freebies, etc. when the mood strikes me. I've been able to do that with FabFree just by sending out a notice in group IM. (I didn't realize til I saw other offers in drop down notices that I could do that. Need a tag for that, which I'm waiting for, but until then...will continue to use the group IM.) :)

FD- Freebie groups such as **Freestyle** ( http://slfreestyle.blogspot.com/ ) are groups where just as u said- you post weekly announcements of your available freebies- you do need a Designer tag to be able to post and sometimes it takes a while to get added - you can attach the item to the notice - not sure about which free group or even if there is a difference, because i have gotten attached freebies. Most people choose to attach an LM though cause the idea is to bring folks to your store in the hope that they will buy stuff. Most groups are hungry for men's clothes- so you may have an in the majority of us do not- your new white shirt - I repeat is awesome!! - Not saying it shd be offered as a freebie, just saying it's very good :) The really big groups will want to see said freebies too- to make sure they are not under quality standards- anyway- check that link for further info and contact them if you are interested :)

Free Dove is another choice- but VERY hard to get in with them- and you basically contact them once- if they don't get back to you - i got the impression from their blurb- don't bother t try again. The Group info was not overly encouraging, but I sent them stuff for review anyway- who knows?

I own a group - Amaretto Bailey Shopaholics Group - and I am the only one allowed to post there. I keep it that way to keep my members from being spammed about every freebie that comes along. Sometimes there are just too many items out there that are of no interest to my group. I read the fashion blogs and check out new malls/stores and report on freebies/dollarbies, bargains, sales, hunts for the members. If they wish something announced, they send me an IM and I check out the item and report on it.

Not everything I find will be included in a notice. We like new designers items, hunts with multiple items (and for the fun of the hunt), and really good sales on established designer goods.
