I've dreamt about SL too, which is odd. Right? Lol.

If it is odd, then I am odd too

I dream about SL a lot, just SL though, not the forums, or anything outside of SL
I dream about being in the world, but having to interact with the world as we do now

A friend wanted to go shopping but said she really didn't have any money...I said...we can find a freebie store...she laughed at me..and said..oh really? Where? Then I realized...well, that's only in SL. lol

have you ever seen a RL person that reminded you of an avatar you have seen in world?
(not the other way around, but RL AFTER seeing SL avatar...)
I have, was weird

Yes I have, and like you say, it was weird.

I once met a girl in RL at some event.
She was younger than me, I don't know, maybe 17-18 or so.

She was extremely pretty, her skin was perfect, almost too perfect for RL.

I knew I had not met her before, but yet there was something familiar about her.
Her makeup, hair style and clothing was strangely familiar to me.

And then I saw it - OMG - this is me - I mean, this is my avatar here in RL !
Maybe in a slightly younger version, but still - this was me.

Really weird.

The boy and I pronounce 'brb' and 'wb' in real life - to the point where it's habit and we don't really notice. It was brought home to me as being a bit odd just recently when the boy greeted me at the train station and cried 'wu-buh!' and someone giggled at us >:(

my brother in law says the acronyms in RL and I find it annoying to say the least LOL

We were watching TV, when something funny happened, the rest of us laughed... he said...
L O L
Another one is the What the F***, he says W T F (and W T F actually is more syllables to say) heh
Also when he is heading out he will not say be right back, he will say B R B

I mean come on....
(and he is not a teenager picking up on some new fang slang, he is into his 3rd Decade)

I've noticed a few cases of people saying 'WOOT!' on other forums that are nothing to do with SL or virtual worlds.

Last weekend I was in a little club listening to a blues band play. It was quiet... not many people, but the band was really good and over and over I had to fight off the urge to stand up and throw up my arms and yell "Hoo!!!".

Last night I was standing outside a restaurant smoking a cig and I saw a girl walking in and she was kind of cute and her hair was dyed with blue highlights and for a few seconds I thought I was in SL and I would have liked to right click her and check out her profile. :p

I have SL dreams all the time. I have conversations with people in them and I see the text coming out one lettter at a time as I talk.

WOOT is a pretty universally accpeted internet expression. It has more to do with gaming than SL or VW.
