wait...so now Mr. Spock is involved in the process??? I never saw that in the Pon Farr episode...  This took place before Mr. Spock. We had these inner tube patches that was a metal diamond shaped tray. You would clamp it to the tube over the hole and light the cardboard material in the tray with a match. The rubber diamond shape patch was melted onto the inner tube and patched the hole. They were called self Vulcanizing patches and made by the Camel Tire Products company. Then your innertube was good as new and "virgin" again. Charles Goodyear invented the process to vulcanize natural rubber that made modern tires possible. The process involved heating natural rubber to a high temp with sulpher which stablized the rubber and allowed molding. "CX" _____________________

...please tell me I'm not the only one who eats popcorn like that...although, it doesn't seem to be too popular when I'm at the movie theater... no, but I don't eat popsorn like this, it's chocolates....MnMs especially. And I eat peanuts like this...though I almost choked on one last christmas lol. bruise those pictures are beautiful! |

ok, reporting in on the reception:
There's been no dancing on tables yet...not enough wine has been taken. The crab cakes are KILLER The spanakopita is yummy...the pyllo is remarkably flaky and the spinach/feta filling has just the right about of zing. The coconut chicken - I have no idea; I have not tasted it. The fruit is ripe and juicy...and the veggies are delish and crunchy... Haven't gotten to the desserts yet. Carry on...... _____________________
