Is that made with Kobe beef?

Hamburger fans, make a point of having Kobe beef in your burger at some point in your existence. Without paying 125 bucks, naturally.

it's supposed to be. but i think the price tag also stems from the truffles(mushrooms) on it as well.
and i agree. a kobe beef hamburger is divine, and needs no condiments, imo

But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

You sound like Pippi Longstocking in my head.

An here I was hoping for Dakota Fanning, or maybe even Drew Barrymore in ET.

I think I read about some Manhattan eaterie offering an eye-wateringly priced Kobe burger with foie gras, truffles and a sprinkling of gold leaf, would you believe.

I agree, Maggie. No condiments required.

I would have thought more like Lily Tomlin's "Edith Ann"

lol, Isabeau confused me so I had to double check it was you lol.

i spotted this a bit ago:

From: the Frrozen Haute Chocolate
The dessert, spelled with two Rs, is infused with 5 grams (0.2 ounces) of edible 23-karat gold and served in a goblet lined with edible gold. At the base of the goblet is an 18-karat gold bracelet with 1 carat of white diamonds.

The sundae is topped with whipped cream covered with more gold and a side of La Madeline au Truffle from Knipschildt Chocolatier, which sells for $2,600 a pound.

It is eaten with a gold spoon decorated with white and chocolate-colored diamonds, which can also be taken home.

How much you may ask?

$25 000!

who spends that on ONE dessert!!!!

Someone, who upon completing the extravagent confection, needs to be punched repeatedly in the face for about 7 hours, I'd say.
