Oh ow, Jesse, sorry to hear of your injury... and the paramedic's, too. :(

Actually it had it's amusing moments. I think the paramedic and I had a competition to see who could howl the loudest as the ambulance went across the snow bumps in the road on the way to the ER. We even tried to talk the nurses into a wheelchair race on the way to x-ray.

And can I hear an amen to Percocet????

Yet the broken rib will heal and the pain will ebb away. That pain pales in comparison to the pain the closing of this forum has been causing me for months now.

This forum literally changed many lives.

I'm so tired from shoveling snow that I have to go to bed...but I don't want to leave...I don't want to miss the forum's final moments.

I have nothing thought provoking to say...just that I've loved being a part of the forums and this thread. You've made this a home away from home for me. I've made good friends here...good friends. They can take away the forums, but they cannot take those friendships away from me.

So, thank you for your conversations, your humor, your support, your good suggestions, your silliness, your love, and your time. I cherish the time we've spent together. It's meant a lot to me.

Thanks. I have a tendency to like to show me comin' an goin' to different events and stuff, especially the more immersive ones, like Burning Life or Camp HardKnock. Same with my series of travel piccies when I moved.

I like to look at the world we share here as some real place, with a history, and culture, and all that. Because, well, I think it is that too. Some people prefer the more fantastical, and that's great -- but I'm very much a creature of reality. Or something like it, anyway. ;-)
Yes, this is what I like most about your pictures. You capture a kind of continuum in SL that is very different from my more random SL experience, and it awes me.

I am being slammed with work. I was only able to skim the posts this evening but you know I stopped on each photo... wow! You all have been super busy. I hope LL archives this place proper so I can come back and see them all again.

This is my my next-to-the-last post unless my fairy godmother visits me before whenever this place goes to archive.

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for making me feel welcome. I have learned much here. I don't want to name names but I must acknowledge one.

Maureen... while Rha may have given birth this thread, you have been the *life* of it. Your warmth and sweet replies to as many posters as you can keep up with... well... it kept me coming back.

i think there was some censorship thing going on in the forums so i threw this together as kind of a giggle..it didn't really get many though lol
