Do you mean "immunity"? "Impunity" doesn't translate.

Fair enough. Not "immunity" though - I meant "free from blame".

But when you punish everyone, then no, I can't blame whoever offended you. For offending you, yes, but not for your reaction. Your reaction is your own responsibility.

When *I* offended you, you directed your remarks at ME, and only to others when they defended me. I can't fault that.

On the other hand, when you make everyone suffer, one of the social consequences is that you exhaust the goodwill of others toward you. And the knowledge (which you mentioned earlier) that "Pep has a good side" begins to be outweighed by an acquaintance with your bad side.

I won't keep flogging this issue, though. I think I've gone through it every way I know of, except to tell you instructive and amusing anecdotes from my elementary school days, but I will spare you that.

I don't do personification of animals.

Pep (Which is what you are if you don't understand the consequences of your actions.)
Hmmm... I must admit I don't think I really CAN claim to perfectly understand the consequences of my actions.

You have to accept the social consequences when you are part of a society that implicitly condones adverse actions by some of its members while explicitly condemning retaliatory actions by others.

Yes I added it in because I'm pretty sure I do have SOME idea of the consequences of most of my actions. But I don't know if it's enough for you consider me to be a person.

Happy Gandhi Day Rhonda, and everyone. BBC World News America is currently doing an excellent special series of segments about the life of Gandhiji.

Gandhi would be considered an extremely dangerous person in sl.

She might pop in over the weekend - she is very busy adjusting to college life (and the rough partying that goes with it).

I was guessing that she was too busy partying with the college kids to find time to hang out with us old folks.

Hey, it's th' weekend! Yay! What are all ya'll gonna do t'have fun in SL this weekend?
I have a RL friend coming over this weekend. No SL for doggies until maybe Sunday. [Gets ready to clean house furiously]

From: Kaimi Kyomoon

When I lived in the UK, back in the olden days when the place was full of Mods and Rockers, they didn't have hot dogs, Vienna sausages, or really much else that was like USA food. What we called biscuits they called scones and what they called biscuits we called cookies or crackers.

I'm not sure why, but I find these cultural difference riveting. How did the differences get to be that way?

I have difficulty at work with ladies having thick British accents who call me checking on boring business issues about some invoice or other. They have my undivided attention, but I can't focus on the numbers with such beautiful pronunciations. One lady was questioning an invoice number that had a "Z" in it, and by the time she got to it and called it "Zed" I was utterly useless. Also when they give their phone numbers they say they are "on" such and such a number, whereas Americans will say "at" such and such a number.

Okay, it doesn't take much to entertain me.

Whoah, Lexxi. I wish my monitor or whatever picked up vibrant colors like this in SL. I must be using the wrong WindLight settings.

Normal default settings. I did, though, run it through Corel Paint's "Vibrant Foliage" setting before uploading to Flickr, then copying to this thread. So, "picked up vibrant colors" = "Vibrant foliage" setting. hehe.

And, I assume, animal is also what you are if you DO understand the consequences of your actions.

Another thing which separates humans from animals is the capacity for compassion.

So you're out the club. :p

If you like Sasha's gowns and shades of purple, she has them on sale at 50% off this weekend. Considering she often has multiple skirts, sometimes in varying lengths in a package, L$200-L$300 for that is quite a deal.
