Why is it that no one has mentioned that Amara is gone? She's not reading the thread (I asked her) and she's not coming back. (Funny I first wrote that as 'She's not reading the *threat*. That's what it feels like to her, here. ) It's not a haven for her anymore but a battle zone and she finally had enough. It got to be too much for her. And she's left the Cartel group inworld.

I've read the thread here, back to Saturday night and find no mention of this. Perhaps I overlooked it and someone will point out to me where it's posted. Damian also is not posting although I have no personal knowledge if he's left too, but would not be surprised.

So, is this not important? It all happened in Cartel group chat and I IM'd her later, so I'm not just relying on group chat. I didn't ask her if I could talk about this here. I just wondered why it's business as usual here in the threat, with no mention of the fact that Amara isn't here anymore. Me, I care, and I miss her.

Pep's bark is far worse than his bite, even here, I think. In fact, though he'll probably castigate me for saying this, I don't REALLY take his nasty turns seriously enough to be offended by them.

What I am saying, Pep -- and you'll hate me for it -- is that I think you are actually probably much nicer than you sometimes try to make yourself seem.

I have had that poster make snide remarks about me and at me, and I chose to not react.

If that poster continues to "attack" me, and I continue to ignore, who do you think looks stupid?

I know in the past I let some posters posts get to me, but eventually I came to realize that by reacting, I was giving them the power to hurt me, and by doing so, they continued to hurt me. Once I took that power away, guess what... no more hurt.
