I never ever thought I would say this...ever...but.

I think the only way to survive the coming collapse is to move to Texas and hope for secession.

Food for thought as I head out to Gettysburg for the weekend.

not better, no. last night I had three of the symptoms. today have 2 or three.

Just watched my thumb moving by itself for a few moments. That was . . . unsettling. Do not know how that is related, do not recall it on t he list of symptoms.

egads! i assume you have a doctor who is monitoring you. what in the world kind of illness causes a thumb to move by itself? scary!

The 12th century way to deal with the banking crisis. What a Christmas bonus. :O

"In 1125 AD Henry V issued this edict: ``In this year before Christmas, King Henry sent from Normandy to England and gave instructions that all moneyers be deprived of their members.

Bishop Roger of Salisbury commanded them all to assemble at Winchester by Christmas. When they came they were taken one by one, and each deprived of the right hand and testicles below. All this was done in 12 days between Christmas and Epiphany, and was entirely justified because they had ruined the whole country by the magnitude of their fraud, which they paid for in full.’’

(Quoted from the Laud Chronicle, one of the last of the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles and translated from Middle English.) "

Ok, that was it for me, literally jumped out of my chair at seeing the spider, with an instinctive jolt of fear. You win. I give, uncle, I'm done, I'm out. It's been real.

Especially for you, Brenda, the UK has its public holiday next Monday on Star Wars Day: May the Fourth be with you!

Good morning Threadies!

Speaking of spiders, while I was entering the building there was a rather large spider on the sidewalk. It reminded me of a story that I told the young lady that rides with me to work.

A couple years back around Halloween my co-worker Debra was in the bathroom. Well my best friend Laurice and I we are pranksters. While Debra was in the stall, we slid a plastic spider underneath the partrition next to her feet. Well, she flew out of the stall screaming hysterically with her pants and everything else around her ankles spinning around in one place. It was funny as hell.

We didn't know she was afraid of spiders. After we found out, we felt bad but it was still funny as hell. And, yes we apologized profusely. But she would've still had the same reaction except her "glory" would not have been displayed. She probably would've pee'd on herself because they decorated the office and the cobwebs had spiders on it.

So the spiders had to be taken down before she walked into the office. Debra was a good sport about it as she played pranks on us. We still laugh about it to this day. She always tell us, I should've kicked you bitches asses.

Had we known about her fear of spiders, we would not have done her that way.

I have never had anyone on the forums on Ignore. Have ever only blocked one person on any chat site. And the only people I've muted inworld are the occasional spammers in groups or sometimes folks that shout in a sim I'm in - and those are almost always temp mutes.

Sorry Pep, wrong franchise. I don't do Star Wars.

Thanks for the thought, though.
