Hey you:) Been trying to stay away from the computer. Having vision problems and strange seizures and they can't figure out why. I imagine it has something to do with flashing lights in Wow....though it is happening even when away from computer for long time. So who knows. Been having all kinds of test done etc... And of course not knowing is causing me anxiety,so I spend most of my time holed up in my bed.:/

/me hugs Honey-
Honey, your notice you sent out, is that the same that is posted here?
Oh Rio! Here's hoping and praying that it will all be figured out and you'll be back to normal soon. If only we all had access to someone like Dr. House in real life...

From: HoneyBear Lilliehook
Yep!

And quit stressing!
Having Raven around should help with that.

Don't shoot me for this please. I'm in a photo contest (aka popularity contest). Free to cast a vote, but I'd really like to win this one and it's also being called the Battle of the Bloggers because 4 out of the 11 entrants are bloggers, so I'd *really* like to win this one. You can vote daily until the 30th, one time a day. If you're so inclined, I'd really really really appreciate it :)

TP in, and then walk into the store, turn left at the top of the small entry stairs, and go through the white doorway and turn left again. And my picture can be found on the second page, top row, center.

My vote for today is in.

Interesting. One of my dentists, a specialist is always admonishing me about eating popcorn lol. As *if* I'll ever stop :p

Once I had a small piece of the kernal lodge underneath the gumline and well, won't go into details but it wasn't pleasant. Infection didn't go into my brain, but it was BAD. I'd think an infection would have to be left alone for a heck of a long time for that to happen plus the pain would be excrutiating by then!. But I can see how it's possible. Everything is sort of connected there; sinuses, ears, throat, and upwards. So many pathways.

Seeing a neurologist IS the best thing at this point tho. I think that's the right path. They are trained to be able to pick up on other possible causes other than neurological ones as well.
Excuse me, I have to go floss my teeth.

Another beautiful day here with sunny blue sky and a high today of 83.
Damnit - STOP stealing my weather. We have been in the 70s the last few days, just shy of 80 yesterday (was those fabulous temps that caused that super fast massive snow melt that put water in my basement).

HOWEVER, I woke this morning to overcast skies, chance of rain, house temp down to 64 and the freakin furnace will not come on.

And I still have to finish dealing with the left over mess from the water in the basement.

I have not had enough coffee to deal with such crap - I am not a happy camper right now.

If it has not been mentioned yet, just have a seat and Brenda will be along shortly to duct tape you to the chair. Though, we do also offer silk ties, leather straps, or chains - if you prefer.
:D

and clover stems, don't forget the clover stems for us sensitive types.

Rio - OMG, Big big hug for you. I'll keep you in my thoughts. I absolutely hate it when I have to spend lots of time with lots of doctors that cannot figure something out and give me answers IMMEDIATELY (I have very little patience). Try not to dwell on bad things that it could be until you know more - chat with Spike on that topic. And definitely please keep us posted.

@Honey - I've saved your post with the slurl and will pop over when I get inworld in a bit.

Welcome to the mayhem Dances. It will be a pleasure adding you to our sometimes dysfunctional family, like in all families, there are crazy relatives and skeletons in the closet. As a bonus, this one even has zombies!
ssshhhhh - you'll scare him off before we get him tied down.

Though this is the Hotel California, we don't really want to let new guests know that too soon after their arrival -- it can cause undue panic.

Konu or Duncan or whoever you are today - dude - they can do wonders for dissociative behavior nowadays - not need for split personalities :p. .
I really did LOL at this one - given how many of YOU folks show up here in different personas.

Duct tape has a lot of uses in life, but there are better things for securing guys.

Husband says: When I get mad at you, you never fight back. How do you control your anger?

Wife says: I clean the toilet.

Husband says: How does that help?

Wife says: I use your toothbrush.
I am saving this thought. There have been a few times in my life where such would have made ME feel much better.

DAMN, DAMN, DAMN ! ! ! !

When the water came back up the drain, it got into the bottom of the furnace and the fan flung it around and got water on the circuit board. So the fan will still run, but the heat will not kick on.

And that freakin board apparently is NOT CHEAP.
:( :(

Good point. But at least you almost always get to walk out cured, eventually.

YUMM

I LOVE this company. We use the same company and their sub-contractors for Electrical, Furnace, and Plumbing. This furnace guy just came back with a new circuit board for FREE. Told the place where he got it that the furnace is still under warranty -- just installed last fall -- and the place did not even look at the board to notice that it was NOT "normal wear or malfunction".

But, I'm keeping the cake, ice cream and Kahlua anyway. I need it before going back down to tackle more of the water cleanup.

Lil, I had a similar issue with my boiler a few years back - a washer had perished and there was water leaking on to the board (why, by the way, do the manufacturers put the damn things in the BASE of the boiler? Why not at the top, where water is less likely to fall on it?)

I just took the circuit board out and dried it with a hairdryer. It was either that or spend a lot of money for a new one, so I was desperate and prepared to try anything.

And it worked! Give it a go, you never know..

We actually could see a corroded area on the board and the end of one wire. Since the water that spilled all over was mostly from the Softener cycling, there was tons of salt in it. Water is bad for electrical parts - water with lots of salt is worse.

However, since we had such a fabulous tech come, all has ended well on that front.
