Oh - I forgot - one more picture. I fell down the stairs this morning - slide from the third step to the bottom, resulting in the worst and largest bruise that colored up faster than any I have ever had:

I obviously need to pay more attention to the deck then. I did look at the other part a lot - where all the people's snow-folks were.

the other day i was down on the grass swinging on the swings by the water. i didn't see any on the deck, however.

holy crap! OUCH! did you slip on the ice or something? that's a nasty bruise. i hope it stops hurting soon, although realistically.....well, you know. :(

sounds like a rupture of something more than capillaries. (I am NOT a doctor). But if the coloration continues to grow, or you experience shakes/shivers/chills get to a hospital. If it's a major vessel ruptured the internal bleeding can be a big problem.

not to mention the possibility of a blood clot, although not as likely on a bruise so high up on the leg. OUCH! :(

ice and aspirin. reduce swelling and thin the blood. ugh.

since it stopped getting bigger on its own, I figured the only good that ice does is numb the area a bit, but that is good enough cuz otherwise it smarts pretty good - an almost constant throbbing, and most definitely not a good kind of throbbing.

that's not the g spot i take it. :p :eek: ;)
