Try Glacier if they have it. Or ask for "triple filtered potato vodka." I know there are still a few brands out there. If you have a Russian running the store I would bet dollar to doughnuts that he has a couple in stock. Humor me -- and him -- and try it one time. My guess is yu will never drink rice vodka again. I've had some of the Rusian Vodkas, and I have 2 bottles of Potato Vodka, one from Ireland, but I prefer Absolut for my V8 Bloody Mary's. |

It needs to be triple filtered. It makes a difference.
Actually, you can run Skol vodka through a Britta water filter and it comes out as crisp and smooth as any you can find. If you just perfer the taste of Absolut, that's fine too. I'm more of a whiskey drinker anyway. Any thing from a good single malt scotch to sour mash to a sweet, blended Canadian depending on my mood at the moment. |
