I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I guess I wasn't supposed to understand it.

Enjoy your break, Lindal! I'm another one who needs to recharge my batteries after being with people awhile.

Oh, I'm just pretending she's escaped to an alt for a break, and seeing how that might go - it's rife with potential humour :) Even if I fell flat!

Lindal is wise to take some time out - and when she feels like it, we'll all be here for her.

I still think Lindal's alt and Trout's alt are secluded away on a tropical island squandering the insurance money from Mumfuzz's 'demise'.

Lindal, we have never spoke but there is certain names in the world of the forum you grow accustom too, when they are gone they leave missing place to some of us, like a missing attachment.
Your absence will leaving leave a hole for some of us but we understand you need to move on and take care of yourself.
Be well, where ever your path leads you.

What he said.

You will be missed.

Yes, a little decompression is always a good thing. And Lindal isn't going cold turkey and cancelling her account intending to never come back, not like some person who shall remain nameless.

I do hope she will still find a little time to devote to helping new people. I can't think of anyone ,offhand that I know, who has done so much for the newbies

It's an excellent thing to take care of yourself. I'll miss your post though. You're one of the more informative people on this forum.

So I bid you a fond adeu for what will hopefully be a short but fruitful break.
Enjoy your summer, go outside and play in the dirt!

Take your time and recharge, Lindal! We all need breaks every once in a while. You know where to find us.

Breaks are good Lindal, and from another semi-introvert I really understand what you mean. Take care and refresh yourself. See ya later. :)

Egad - think it through, Lindal!

If you're gone, the noobs at GQ Start will not learn about "Sex in SL" and will fan out through the whole grid nekkid and both ill-equipped and over-equipped at the same time!

I tend to balance out the amounts I go on SL.

I can see why it can be addicting, but I can't see why it can't be controlled.

All you people taking breaks are actually in the Bahamas together, admit it!

Microsoft Paint. No specialised tools, Nooooooo. Ridiculously inconvenient, isn't it? To use. For sculpties. Yes, right. Can't beat Torley's tutorials, can you? Saves a year of learning, if I do say so myself!"
...
Indalay Idkay: "Why am I here? ... I'm here for the, ah, bling! That's it. The Bling. See? Sparkly! Ooooh... how... fun."
...
Esmonday Angshay: "Yes, I TOO could watch the standard library dance moves all day, they are all so NEW and ah, Funny aren't they? Gestures, yes... shall we do each default one in turn, and laugh? That's a good noob... time, isn't it?"
...
Indalay Idkay: "Yes, we could go to a club, but my... erm, my Avatar is broken, that's it - it force-teleports away from large annoying crowds. Really! Can't help myself! I called support, they thought it was kinda different too..."
...
Esmonday Angshay: "Land - no, no land here... *nervous twitch* - wouldn't it be exciting though? Imagine what you could do with half a mill, I mean, ah, half a dozen prims! The possibilities are endless."
,..
Indalay Idkay: "No, I've never met that lying jerk, I mean, that Anonymous Stranger ever before! I've got no idea who that is. Truly. I just, well, let's not say hi to them. It's... the shirt! That's it. That shirt he's got on puts me into an epileptic episode. Can't look at him. Nosiree bob, no can do. Let's go the other way, my noob friend."
...
Esmonday Angshay: "Now that's odd. I think the interface is broken - I just can't seem to exile that griefer with a casual flick of my hand, or darken the continent's sky momentarily to express my displeasure. Oh! Wait. My mistake! I mean, That bad Griefer has Hurt my Feelings! And I'm... intimidated! Yes, that's it! Intimidated. Right."

LOL, nice :)

Gee Lindal when you say it you sound normal.
When I try to shut up, take a break or need some be unto myself time
and time out from the *wheee*, I get BS drams, ppls being shitty and it couldn't! be anything other then just what I said.

Me too...I'm lousy at being to able to tell people what's up with me when I need a break. Thank you so much Lindal for putting into words what I have needed to say in the past and couldn't. I just usually fade away and leave people wondering what happened which makes me feel very bad.

I'm going to take this lesson to heart. Thanks Lindal for this and nourish yourself.

Damn, ain't that the truth! I couldn't even manage to leave ONE thread without making ppl think I was having some profound personal crisis.

I tend to think that I am adept with the Engllish language, but Lindal did a MUCH better job than I at this announcement.

I wish you all the best, Lindal. You're one of the goodun's. I sure do understand your feelings . and ... WELL SAID!

take care hon and take it easy!! i fully understand; i'd just realized this past week that i really really -really- need to try to take one day at least a -month- to not log in the grid at all, lol... ;0 (and counting that often anymore i'm offline yet still working... i'm still fixing up a mess of email after comcast botched their email-forwarding from my old isp accounts... :( )

hehe let's hear it for us sl-salingers! ;0 i love a good party, but rarely have time to take a break for one. when even my sl friends complain they don't see enough of me anymore, i just know somethin's wrong... :\
