Farewell for a While

At the end ot "Terminator II" Arnold, as a very battered android, says, "I need a vacation".

So do I. So I'm going to take one. I'm going to leave the forums, and the in world Cartel group for a period of time. I'm going to remove my visibility to most of my Cartel friends.

Why? There are several reasons. I don't want this to become one of those angsty posts, but I'll mention three of them.

First, by nature I'm an introvert. We introverts tend to expend energy when we deal with people, especially in groups (extroverts, on the other hand, GAIN energy in this way). My reserves are running low, and I need to have some alone time to recharge.

Second, I hate Drama. In recent weeks, I've been involved in three fairly major episodes, and they, more than anything else, have sort of beaten me down.

Third, I'm spending way too much time here, and socializing with my Cartel friends in world. I need to get away from that...get some long-delayed SL and RL projects done.

Just because I'm going away for a while doesn't mean I don't love you all...you are my Second Life family. Yes, even the ones on my Ignore list. But even families need breaks from each other sometimes.

Again in the words of Mr. Schwarzenegger: "I'll be back."

Lindal, we have never spoke but there is certain names in the world of the forum you grow accustom too, when they are gone they leave missing place to some of us, like a missing attachment.
Your absence will leaving leave a hole for some of us but we understand you need to move on and take care of yourself.
