I'm not a sports fan at all, so this sort of loyalty test is brutish herd behavior as far as I'm concerned. It's just testosterone.  Pep (Appreciates the subtleties of a contest, regardless of who is wearing what colour jersey.  ) PS My team are the Raiders; who cares who wins or loses as long as you spill blood. _____________________

Fun thread topic. Thanks for starting it! Yet, when I start a thread about favourite books or wicked latest cds everyone moans. What's fun about a game between cheeseheads and packers? And WHY cheeseheads????? I enjoy tennis and cricket. Tennis especially. _____________________

Sounds like an interesting topic for a Friday thread. Pep (Some people might learn something for a change.) I think David Beckham has a real fashon sense. And his cologne smells lovely on a man. Very spicy and with deep undertones. I am impressed by his "nose" for the business of cologne. _____________________

A true fan wouldn't burn the old Favre jersey for charity.
A true fan would save the jersey, bring it to the home game when the Vikings came to Green Bay, and have the jersey burning at the stadium when Favre arrives off the bus. |

Playing for the USA against the Soviet Union. The team then when on to defeat Finland to capture the gold medal.  _____________________

Here's what you do.
Ask Packers management if they are going to burn all the awards that the team received while he was quarterback as well. If they aren't going to burn their superbowl rings, their championship banners, etc.. there no reason for you to burn your stuff either. _____________________
