I know we've all been there , we all read the the who to lodge a complaint against the newly rezed avi thats about be kids with their kiddiots scripts, what I want to talk about is not
the complaint process.

Otherwise I just sit on something and _perhaps_ raise an eyebrow. Once. Usually, if I am building in public, I will be sitting on a nonphys vehicle in the first place. A particularly egregious attack may cause me to say "tsk". _____________________

Usually, if I am building in public, I will be sitting on a nonphys vehicle in the first place. A particularly egregious attack may cause me to say "tsk". I bet you even have an animation for raising an eyebrow....I can just imagine that!  I'd also recommend use of a nonphysical vehicle-it does not even have to be visible. (And as *we* can't move the thread, sorry, Hewee...) _____________________

The moment a griefer gets a bump/collision detect or anything they could twist and spin into an AR, they won't hesitate to do so. There is no scripted solution to a griefing without becoming a neatly banable griefer yourself. (=_=)y _____________________

how about. 1 - channel scanning styles 2 - channel collisions, new thread to discuss? or as the havok engine decides if you cant see it the don't render (thus my umbrella) I understand that the metheods to fight back can be considered as dark as the oppositions arsenal..but I'll be damned if I will not gird my self and try. And Snape ..rocks I can't find a script related question in your OP post. Lemmee try.... Hmmm..... "What scripts do you use in order to defend yourself against griefers?" .... I avoid any sandbox Linden owned for building nowadays. Which sucks, since I used to love being around other builders and sharing tips/tools/whatever. Sadly, I was spending entirely too much time ARing and not enough time building.

I almost dedicatedly use the NCI Kuula sandbox. There's always a crowd of great builders around. Build time is often blended with play time. And there's normally 'round the clock security and help available. Most griefers are a short lived sort there... Unless the griefing is entertaining enough. =^-^=

I do not play in sandboxes.....cats poop in them.
But....if I do run in to any kind of problem with a griefer type....which is almost less then rarely....I have this nifty device that cause other avatars to fart.....really loudly with a poof of noxious particles emitting from their bottom. It's quite fun.....and so hard to find a good excuse to use it so..... go ahead...grief me, I dare ya. phew....you stiiiiiiinnnnkkkkk.... |
