We use Second Life to conduct our fighting where the kids can't hear. Helps when you can pull out a gun and not be charged with manslaughter

The mind boggles, a bit--but I have heard of sports here before. There's fencing, too. ^^ . |

As a slight aside to this (but still in the couples line of things) my partner and I were at Animation Island (I think that was its name) the other day. We tried out a great flying animation for a couple, where you both hold hands, put an arm around each other, and various other couple-ish and snuggly things while flying. I think it was about 500L or so, but it had quite a lot of animations in it, and we both thought it was fabulous. There's a demo which you can try out in the store. Definitely something to consider using when you're visiting some of the places listed in this thread.

I've seen something like this at Abranimations, too, but wasn't quite sure how it worked... that's a fabulous idea, though. Really tempted by those. As a side note--I saw something on SLX the other day that involved a "follow" mechanism... so's you could follow someone walking or flying? ...Will have to dig up that link... _____________________

Mystitool (a SL godsend of a device) has that option. When my wife and I go shopping I am often left standing somewhere because I was looking something up when she moved. When that happens I rez a seat (when build is allowed) from the mystitool, tell it to follow her via a menu and then I am good to go. ![]() _____________________

Things rez slower on my machine than on my husband's, so he's off to look at this or that while I'm still waiting for the floor to load... ^^ _____________________

There is a box full of free landmarks at my store in Shona. The landmarks are to the most interesting places I have found to visit and explore in SL during my 3+ years here.

do they have a good tilting horse? Now, that I don't know... you might have to get one specifically for that, I'm not sure. Hey, there's another fun thing to do - visit various role play sims. I've always wanted to check out Tombstone more thoroughly, and I hear wonderful things about Avilion Grove. _____________________

do they have a good tilting horse? The Armour Stall makes scripted lances and armour for use with various horses (yes, including my mine, but most other makes are compatible as well, and they've made custom armour for many). If you'd like to try your hand out jousting, demo lances and horses are available at the jousting arena at the Antiquity Equestrian center in Antiquity Forest. Happy riding! _____________________

The Giant Snail races have gone back to there regular Saturday morning time of 11:00 am
at a sim called "The Eternal" formerly known as Montmartre. We have a brand new track with a medieval look complete with catapults a shark filled moat and a few other cool obstacles. Oh and now there is more room for spectators because we do it on 2 sims now with the spectators in one sim and the snails and film crew next door. _____________________

Wait.. there are penises in Second Life? ![]() Yes but the more polite way of refering to them is d*ckheads - you find them in RL too occasionally. Giant snail races??? Wow I'm sooo in |

do they have a good tilting horse? I actually like my horse to keep all four feet on the floor, I find I fall off if it tilts. imogen _____________________

Surely the answer is anything you want to, same as anyone else, but perhaps avoid the poseball palaces?
