is something wrong

i can not find anything posted about it and i can not log into SL is something wrong that i am missing

If you check the grid status page logins are down. I can't login either so your not alone.

When I view the status page it is marked resolved - but then again that was from last night.

I can't get in either.... I keep getting "something has gone wrong"

Nope - that notice about logins being down was yesterday evening.

It appears that some of our login servers are struggling, and some Residents won’t be able to complete the login process. Our Ops team is aware of the situation, and working to fix this as soon as possible.

ok i figured i was just missing something. status page had yesterdays date on it so i didnt know

aaand just as i say that i get in LOL

Login server doesn't explain why my build went phantom and then reasserted phantom status no matter how much the box got unticked.

XStreetSL and onrez are also both having trouble today.

I can't even get on the status page. It says the server is taking too long to respond. Oh well. Guess I'll go off to find my papa in the post-nuclear world of Fallout 3.

kk it's time to play to GH:WT and RB2, while thinking about what to put into the bag for the NYE.

I think there must be a problem with the status page. I don't see that.

The status page (as others) are load balanced between different machines, so yes we're watching different pages (an updated one.. and the "old" one), until they get aligned.

It has now been over 1 1/2 hours since they posted about the problem If they don't have the page updated yet on all their web servers, they either have bigger problems than they thought or poorly designed caching rules.

It could also be the caching of the individual user's browser -- hitting refresh or reload will almost always get me a fresh updated page.

Probably it was related to the same network troubles.. the blog weren't loading properly as well, so the issue may have affected the data sharing between the servers.

OK, 10 minutes after logging in, the status page finally updated to let me know that I might have troubles logging in.

I'm not getting any of my groups showing up, so I'm not going to be doing any building today.

and almost 45 minutes ago they posted an update indicating that they *think* the issues are resolved:

[UPDATE 10:50 am PST] One of our network providers suffered a signifcant outage, which may have contributed to the earlier reported login issues. Once their services were restored, our login servers dealt with the rush, and logins should now be back to normal.

We’ll leave this blog open until we’re satisfied all issues are taken care of.

Maybe they have only been paying attention to logins and not to anything else working or not inworld.

TP is not working for me. Search and profiles are very slow to respond.

Important meetings are IMPORTANT to get to.

Seems like everything started acting up again a short bit ago, but I am now finally able to TP again.
