Woman's Short Hair..

Isn't it funny? I am too! I never thought id have such an instinctual drive to buy new hair...BUY NEEEW HAIR!! Oh and i've bought a few styles from all the previous shops mentioned..but ETD has me hooked. I need that ETD "fix".

what about a female pigshave? like ripley or gi jane? i imagine some sort of 'bald cap' but not quite bald.

If it is, then it's definitely Elika's... it's one of her former Couture styles. It used to be called The Razor Cut, not sure what it's called now. (As I recall, those were all renamed and moved into her regular line.) Here's a copy of the old ad pic:

You're welcome! I knew one day my habit of buying *way* too much hair would come in handy.

Short hair is so difficult to make. I really dislike seeing it shrink and showing scalp when you move away from your avatar.

I've seen that happen alot with sculpty hair..from a distance it changes and sinks into the scalp..and i have an odd shaped head too so alot of times i have to edit linked parts and raise pieces to fix that.

I used to be able to set my sliders really high and that wouldn't happen. Now the hair needs to be at least an inch away from the scalp so it doesn't happen at a reasonable distance. I also use lots of sculpt too. Such a dilemma.

That's exactly what a friend of mine has been looking for, too. The only thing that came close was a skin with a painted on crew cut. Unfortunately she can't use it, because it's a male skin with a beard.

It looks like there is a market for a female skin with GI Jane hair!

Don't the naughty male skins come with a touch of peach fuzz up top? she could always buy that and then simply wear the fuzz n a bald head..could even attach a mohawk bto the chin or nose to make it look like its the same piece.

Bad@ZZ has fab short hair for men , they could look very good on a girl too....

I am looking for them too but i don't want to change my skin so I think the only way is to use a psd layer. Anyone sell it?

(Not reading this whole thread but) I saw some adorable ones last night at Adored. (No pun intended!)

Also, ETD has some cute ones, and I have a couple in my inventory that I've had so long I forget where I got them, but they're great, so I'll look later and report back here.

Also check Nylon Pinkney's profile, she makes hair that is cute, and several are short.

I found the nicest short hair this morning...at the Hairspray Mall. A shop called Marleys has two. The one I bought is called Slim Pixie, a very short pixie cut. There is another one but I can't remember the name...Ada? Adelle?

My alt bought very nice short hair from Gurl6. The style is called Andie and when you buy a pack you get 4 related colors and 3 sizes of each so you can fit your head size.

There is a new skin out by Tulli that is the Samantha skin. That skin looks great and it comes with options of hair on the sculp in your choice of colors. The hair is very short and looks cute....not the same as the Naughty hair on the skins....I would say a bit more hair than that. This may work perfect for you but it does mean buying a new skin.

hi sorry girls for butting in but this just cracked me up.My big problem in sl this last few weeks is keeping my hair on .When i log in its missing in action sometimes i wait for 5 minutes before it appears and tp ing is a no no,same thing.Bad enough losing it gradually in rl now its happening in sl ,my luck lol

actually if the hat and hair are both modiable you can add a hat to any hair, i do it all the time, you just cannot do it while wearin them.

I did buy some short hair recently, from Philotic Energy, the "Wren" style. I am not entirely sure, but I will be giving it a good shot.
