So who makes the best 'short' hair for women..? I won't bore you with the details as to why I need to know this (okay okay it's for one of my alts..I just think she'd look better with really short hair..) Anyway she usually wears a baseball cap..with the hair sprouting out all over it..so I'm looking for seriously short hair that will go under it rather than out of it. Any recommendations.... Thanks..Perre..

I think a lot of the hair stores have a 'hat style' which usually comes with it's own hat. If you buy a modifiable style you can just remove the hat and replace it with your own. I know etd has a couple and so does celestial city.

It's remarkable the things you find while out looking for other stuff. I've often wondered if it were possible to achieve a reflection in a polished surface..realistically it's not...or so I thought. So I walked into this place to look at hair..and they had this amazing polished floor..the walls..pictures..notices were all reflected in the polished laminate flooring.
How'd they do it..? Simple (or maybe not so..) they built an exact copy of everything that was above the floor..below the floor, only in mirror image..then I guess made the floor slightly transparent..hey presto a reflection in a polished floor..genius!!
Anyway back to the hair..I'm still looking!!

My current favorite short hair is from Calico Creations. I also like some of the styles at Naughty. Gurlywood has a ton of styles, but I like their medium lengths best.

Hmm..saw plenty of 'shortish' styles but no 'real' short looks. I'm thinking Annie Lennox or Marie Fredriksson (Roxette). Still my alts now got a (Luc Bresson) 'Nikkita' look not to mention the various shades of style + hat that makes her look like Mary J Blige. Anyway me 'n' my alt are going to go and experiment with some reflective polished flooring..thanks everyone for the advice..I'll check it all out.. Perre..

ETD's Kit hair has a cap with it, though I am not sure if you can remove this or not. Plus its more of a tied back style than short.
I have a couple of nice short ETD hairs. My fave short one though is by Truth. Called Kensai I think. They do a male and a femal version but there's not much difference. I got it given to me and I love it. Tintable too. I'm not sure how it would fit with a hat though, I've never tried.

I checked out everywhere that I could get to, lot's of short(ish) hair but no cropped hair (ie crew). I bought a few that look good and a couple work reasonably well under the baseball cap, so there's a bit of success there. Bree, you suggested men's hair..surprisingly, I've found it's just as difficult to find really short men's hair as women's. So; I've come to the conclusion that seriously short hair just isn't available as an attachment. Hair this short comes with the skin as a texture. I suspect there's a limit to how short hair can be as an attachment; too short and the skull shows through, make it longer to avoid this problem and it ceases to be really short. Anyway thanks to all those who responded and helped me out. Perre.. By the way..has anyone noticed how appalling the lag is in some of those places..ouch!!

How short are you talking? ETD and 0 Atyle are nice Sirena too. Aveda has this one style thats one my list of to buy once the ETD sim is up s well. all in all it depends on what look you are goin for.
